Why? I'm sure it's been many entrepeneur's strategies to watch other business fail then come in with a cheap price.

SISU aren't stupid. The poision from the chalic has been removed (CCC) so I think it'll be a lot easier for them.

CCC own the freehold so they will have a say who takes over after Wasps.
The best we can hope for IMO is that Wasps spread their risk to include CCFC and that CCFC get a great deal/share because they are in the Championship/PL.

Yes, we still need that sugar daddy to finance us into the PL but who knows ??

Be nice to know what Sisu's actual plans are ?
Not much of a plan if it relies on someone else failing IMO.
Especially as the one that relied on ACL failing back fired miserably and set the club back for a few years.

It's more likely that Wasps are stretched and once the JR is out the way negotiate with CCFC for some sort of buy in.
The higher up the league we are the more leverage we will have.

Be nice to see some collaboration on tickets where all 3 clubs (CRFC CCFC & Wasps) discount each others tickets in joint packages.

The original plan only backfired because Wasps were willing to relocate a team 95 miles. Stretched? What about richest club in the world? You were saying that they had various income making them and ACL more profitable? Are you now changing your stance? What about the stadium naming right? Land Rover weren't it you said? Why join up with CRFC? There not within walking distance!

Why would CCFC need to offer a discount on Wasps tickets when you can get them free / cheap anyway?

No, the original plan backfired because fans stayed away from Sixfields. Wasps forced the issue.(assuming you believe Sisu got word about it)
No, I'm saying that CCFC only chance is if Wasps are stretched. I'm not saying Wasps are stretched. In fact with several income streams it's unlikely.
Still saying Land Rover, I'll tell you why when it happens.
I'm not saying I want to go to CRFC I'm saying if people want to it would be nice to have cross ticketing.

Other than that you got your spelling right !!

I'll have to bow to your greater knowledge on this.
I know our local school gets tickets but not everybody in it. I know the headmistress pulls rank and always gets tickets.
My daughters rugby club gets them but not everybody so they take turns.

I don't like scratting around so I have bought a season ticket for both CCFC and Wasps.

Don't have to bow to anything, wasn't it buy a ticket get one for a pound for everybody and they do BOGOF deals for everybody?

I would say its possible not unlikely, although we shall wait and see.

Crowds lower than expected, many people underwhelmed by the experience and failing to return, constant reliance on discounts and freebies, coupled with the fact finally CCFC are performing on the pitch and fans are returning to the football club, not deserting to a Rugby Club.

I also note that Wasps are hardly pulling up trees in signing new players, no marquee signings and vetoed by Leigh Halfpenny. Their is a whiff of not having the financial package to attract the best.

Because they sponsor the shirt? Is there a particular reason why you can't explain your logic behind that thinking?

Know a lad studying at Worcester and he said there were loads of free tickets going round the uni for yesterdays game.

Seems the catchment area for freebies is expanding.

Maybe having trouble even giving them away locally?

OSB has already outlined why this won't happen, wasps can't sell shares in ACL due to the bonds.

Also absolutely no reason why the clubs should discount each other's tickets.

Surely they can when the bond ends ?
Surely if CCFC did buy into ACL there would be mutual advantages in getting bums on seats for both games ?

Where will they get the £35m to pay back the bonds? On top of the £2m pa they need to cover the Interest payments?

Ccfc aren't going to buy into ACL. If they did and it was a 50:59 split it's likely each club would keep their own f&b's so it wounding benefit us if wasps got more fans, in fact we'd probably lose out in ticket revenue as you'd need to heavily discount in order to bums on both seats, wasps a throwing around free tickets and the gates aren't that high.

We are in debt as well don't forget and that debt is increasing at more than £2M a year.
Don't get carried away that we are in a better position than they are and pull the strings.

Wasps are in debt and there debt is growing by the bond interest of £2 million a year.

What's your point?

Surely their debt is only growing if they fail to pay the bond interest? So it's actually a stagnated debt not a growing debt. Unlike ours of course.

It's deterring new owners of the club. We're paying the price for the debt OK just possibly not how you meant.

I wonder if our recent signings and upturn in form are a result of the London franchise being in the city?

SISU will know that the loyalty in the city is towards the football club and there is a greater chance of Wasps failing if ccfc are successful.

I'm sure that Wasps are not happy at all about our current success.

There is more chance that renting the stadium off a London franchise rugby club is also putting off potential new owners.

Saying that though, we aren't doing too badly at the moment, are we? How many people could have believed we'd be where we are in the league and have Joe Cole playing for us?

Why would Wasps not be happy for us ? The more fans we have the more money they make !!
Wasps can cream off CCFC success if they want to. Charge us silly rent and what could we do ?
To be honest if Wasps start to fail then we will make up the difference.

We need to either build a new stadium or work with Wasps.
To be realistic about it we only have the second option.

You have already exposed yourself as being self-centred and having no affinity with the city; if it wasn't for your car par you wouldn't be so desperate for them to succeed.

Well they will pay the bond interest by incurring more debt....they've never had a year from what I can see that the debt hasn't grown from the prior year.

Nice to see you are trying to defend wasps and your best friend Italia though.

I want what's best for CCFC and as I see it, it's at the Ricoh, working with Wasps and no Sisu.
At the moment I've got 2 out of 3.
However. 3 out of 3 if Tim Fisher was got rid of.

Luckily for CCFC, Northampton fans didn't share your lack of morals, you'd have been outraged had the locals turned up thanks to free tickets from SISU.

You clearly don't want the best for CCFC, you only want what is best for your wallet.

Not up to Fisher and it is not ultimately his decision. Wasps will only have us there as long as it is profitable to do so and that will always mean we miss out on money that otherwise we should get. It puts us at an immediate disadvantage compared to most other clubs.

You'll need to prove it.
Rental of 100K and access to some revenues and no stadium to finance and maintain might have a bearing.

The disadvantages are more the missing sugar daddy that the successful clubs seem to have.

We could always use the franchise's excuse that it is essential for our survival? We could then give out free tickets to the locals to drum up support.
