Substance as in false statements?

Without going into it, you did criticise people and the locals who went. You always "liked / agreed" some pretty hardcore posts against people who went too.

Still, not as bad as the user who went mental about free tickets at Sixfields for locals and is then asking about freebies for Wasps.

Get a life. Your checking my likes ?
Couldn't give a sh1t about free tickets at Sixfields and did you really think I needed free tickets for my family in their new wasps gear? LMFAO

Nope, somebody else did last time you spouted the bullshit.

Hence I said, "Not as bad as the user". Meaning it wasn't you.

Amazing how you fell out of love with sisu because they moved us 35 miles. Yet fell in love with wasps after they had moved 90 miles. I don't care if you do or don't give a toss. Your blinding hypocrisy should be pointed out at all times. Most don't like sisu. But they don't then go and support a similar kind of outfit just under a different guise. I hope wasps fail. And I hope its just after you bought your season ticket and all your new attire. Then I hope you don't get a refund. Your of a similar ilk to that of moonstone and sisu. Don't kid yourself. You have no principles or morals just like they don't.

You miss the point.
CCFC are my team and when they were moved I was fuming.
Wasps are not my team so I just go to watch rugby like I go and watch a movie.
It fills my social time.

You, like a lot on here have one plan.
Slag Wasps and anybody who follows them.
'Hope' that they fail so Sisu somehow get the stadium for CCFC.
Yet you have no idea what Sisu want and from previous experience Sisu don't just want to take it over they want it empty.

Good luck with your many years of bitterness and uncertainty.

I'll just get on with things and take any limited chance I can of pushing Sisu for a plan I can support..

Why not support CRFC then? If you believe clubs belong in their community which you did when CCFC moved, why not support the local rugby team? A rugby team with a history, a tradition and a sense of belonging. A team that used to be one of the best in the country. Why not give them your money? Why not buy their attire? Why not try and help that club reach former glories? A bit like we all want CCFC to reach the premiership. Slag? Possibly the wrong word. Criticise? Most certainly. As you have pointed out it was wrong for CCFC to be moved and rightly the fan base were fuming. Why then condone it happening to another club? I hoped CCFC would get the stadium. With it being council owned they would have had more chance of inserting caveats into a deal to ensure the club and stadium remained as one. Now with it being privately owned if SISU ever did get their hands on it there would be no such chance. I have a rough idea that they want to make money and get their investment back. No different to Wasps. You have no problem with them doing that yet don't like SISU doing it. Care to explain? Other than that they moved us to Northampton for a year. Compared to Wasps permanent relocation. Have Wasps not renegotiated contracts or cancelled contracts? We don't know. Hidden behind confidentiality. Least SISU were honest and upfront about what they wanted. Well maybe they weren't on second thoughts. They asked for confidentiality and it was leaked.

Lastly you repeat about asking SISU for a plan and direction. Care to explain what you have done so far to achieve this? Wrote to Joy? Tim? Chris Anderson?

Again cue sidekick

Asked him about CRFC before.

It is because a) he has no affinity because he is in Bedworth. b) they aren't on his doorstep (ie his car park)

I live outside Coventry (Beduth) and walk to the Ricoh so why would I go to CRFC ?
I can get my local Rugby fix watching my daughter play for Cov Welsh.

We are where we are at the Ricoh and no matter how much we regurgitate we need to move on with what we have.
I'm not sure what Sisu want, a new stadium or a deal at the Ricoh, they say a new stadium but in reality IMHO it's just playing to the JR.

I have no bugbear with the club and have contacted them directly on several occasions particularly when Waggot was hear.
I have even offered my services free of charge for disabled fans issues to which I have raised on many occasions with various Sisu management over the years. However, other than an email saying they will pass my details on they have not bothered to contact me again. It seems fruitless at the moment as we lack of any direction off the football pitch.

To be honest if CCFC were not on my doorstep I don't think I would bother with a season ticket.
I never bothered with CRFC when they were at the top of the game.

Starting to make sense now. Not so much a man of loyalty or passion. More of convenience? With that in mind, if that is the case. Then I apologise for expecting you to understand my perspective even if you didn't agree with me

How can anybody defend Wasps, even objectively they shouldn't be here. They are a London team in a country where sports teams are pillars of community and not franchises. SISU are shitbags and CCC and shitbags but whoever's 'side' you're on a London rugby team should be playing in a Coventry football stadium.

Doesn't it illicit an emotional response seeing the statue of Jimmy with Wasps badges behind it, walking past the wall with names of fans that paid money to have their name on their football club's stadium. We have a memorial garden for people who had their ashes scattered at Highfield Road because they wanted to be close to their football team. The Ricoh is our stadium, no matter what the ownership and no matter who fucked up us not owning it.

Until Wasps leave out of there own choice I wish them all the ill in the world. As a general rule I wouldn't wish anybody's team to go under but if they went bust it would be a joyous day in my house.

They don't really need to go bust just be unable to make payments on the Ricoh and lose it. They can then go back closer to London and their fans and we can buy ACL etc.

Wishful thinking. I wanted SISU out from the day they took the club to Northampton, but it did not happen.

A massive 13,040 at the Ricoh today for the 'Big Midlands Derby'.

It's a shame they scraped buy in the game as defeat would have meant bottom 3.

Attendances now are pointless. So many freebies to boost the crowd for this one.

i had to admit i went to today as someone bought tickets for the whole of the family.
I was hoping worcester would hold out for thw win.

There were loads of under 10's there and a lot of worcestef fans; the tickets we were given cost a qiuid i think on the back of the saracens game....it would be interesting to know how many actually paid full price and what the gate would have been had there not been all the freebies.

I didnt think too much to the atmosphere, it was a bit like ice hockey ...heavily chorographed but no variety.

I personally wont be rushing back, i dint want to go in the first place.

It's a massive shame the small percentage of the Coventry public bother to go along and watch the franchise.

If they didn't bother it would be impossible for them to even attempt their pathetic PR campaign.

Attendances will continue to go down. If CCFC got promoted this season, the local sports fans who sit on the fence would rather go and watch a game against Leeds, Villa, Birmingham etc, than go and watch Wasps play. It was a novelty at first.

Be interesting to see the crowd next season if CCFC got promoted as somebody else mentioned.

Still convinced it's SISU'S strategy to watch Wasps fail and then swoop in to purchase the Ricoh. Don't ask why but it's just a hunch.

The novelty if watching Wasps is slowly waning.

Be nice to know what Sisu's actual plans are ?
Not much of a plan if it relies on someone else failing IMO.
Especially as the one that relied on ACL failing back fired miserably and set the club back for a few years.

It's more likely that Wasps are stretched and once the JR is out the way negotiate with CCFC for some sort of buy in.
The higher up the league we are the more leverage we will have.

Be nice to see some collaboration on tickets where all 3 clubs (CRFC CCFC & Wasps) discount each others tickets in joint packages.
