I've just come to ricoh for burger king. Not many people about at all. No traffic from a444 or anything?

Was this the one with pound tickets?

It's the one with echo and the bunnymen and the buzzcocks playing after, watched second half on BT, be surprised if there were 7k there.

Hopefully it becomes a bit of a cycle. The crowds dwindle so a few decide it's a crap atmosphere and the few decide to jack it in. Keep that up and there'll be no one left and they'll fuck off back to London

Wasps will now probably announce 12k, italia will be smug about it and we will all be left bemused on how they reached that attendance figure.

That is the hope and the greedy investors lose their money as well.

I think the next game (bath) was a free ticket when buying a Toulon ticket so the attendance will likely be higher.

Also offering tickets for Worcester for a £1 if you buy a ticket for the previous game.

Italia is a right mug buying a season ticket. They are giving tickets away now like confetti.

Maybe these didn't do much to help?

Would any of our families like some free tickets to the wasps game this weekend? Ask the lovely ladies in the office tomorrow! Merry Xmas!

The funny thing is the corporate seats are blocked booked by wasps and many are then given away, it's a shitfest - I doubt there were more than 4,000 customers paying full retail price.

These wankers will be gone in a couple of years.

Thread just started on the wasps site bemoaning the Ricoh as a souless shithole and that they are in a stadium that's far too big.

Only thing that's wrong with it is that it states they are financially better off. Their balance sheet is a debt ridden nightmare,

They look fucked.

Looks worse than a Tuesday night early round JPT game. Sure Italia will be on later to tell us it was a huge success and there was definitely 10K there.

I need to spend my money on something. Got more coming in than going out since they arrived.

They are playing quite well at the moment as well I believe and will still have a boost from the novelty factor of Wasps at the Ricoh.

Suspect attendances could well be embarrassing in 2/3 years down the line combined with a bad spell.

Judging by the pics Nick posted all the fans in the tesco and telegraph stand would fit in 2 blocks.

For it to be 10k ..thats 1 in 3 seats taken .
Considering the away stand was empty .. thats 7000 at best ..and at a very hard push

Had a quick look on twitter, found a few more pics.

Doesn't look anything close to 10K to me. They must be counting all the free tickets they give away that don't turn up.

They're getting the piss ripped out of them by fans of other teams. Seems it was on the TV. Doesn't seem like they're a very well liked club as a result of the move from London.

10k is almost a third of the ground full, its not even a quarter full, probably at a push its a fifth full which would be 6k which seems a lot more plausibel

I doubt there will be any pictures online from our Scunthorpe game will there? It's definitely less than our fa cup game of 9k by a chunk.

By the ground just after was dead, nobody walking about, nobody at tesco.
