At the time I didn't know what to believe. The merry go round of false dawn after false dawn of new announcement coming in X number of months, badger poo, generic drawings trying to be passed of as plans, no desire to explain the numbers and rounds of FOI's hadn't started when we rocked up in Northampton. That's called the benefit of hindsight. Something that the people who gambled by going to Sixfields didn't have, the same as us who didn't go. The only difference being we chose not to gamble with the future of our club and it leaving the City permanently.

Something you once shared before changing your mind and going to Sixfields anyway.

As I have said, when / if it was announced I'd have judged it then depending on where it was. If it was 35 miles away, I'd have been done for good. Which I said at the time.

If they had announced they had bought land in Hinckley and started building a stadium, I wouldn't have gone any more. If they had said Sixfields is for good, I wouldn't have gone.

It would have been to late by then. You'd already have endorsed a move out of the City by going to Northampton. You'd only have had yourself to blame by that point.

That's what you do. Like saying SISU should win The appeal but they won't. In other words, if they win you can say I knew they would and if they don't you can say they should have.

But by going you've already given them a mandate to leave the City. The temporary move to Northampton was always sold as a permanent move out of Coventry and you voted that you didn't mind in principle with your feet. I'd say try reading the SCG minutes from the meeting on the 28/05/2013 of the website. As you know they are always posted on the clubs website first and then other bodies such as the SBT are free to publish them I believe. Anyway, I guess that the club only archive them on there for a set period of time as they're not on there anymore. Anyhow TF confirmed that SISU were moving the club out of the City in that SCG meeting and that would have been on the clubs website at the time. So tell me again why you went to Northampton?

Whether you believe him or not is besides your point. He's an official of the club and he said it at an SCG meeting in his capacity as an official spokesman of CCFC with the authority to not only say it but also be part of making it happen.

The minutes of this meeting would have been on the clubs website and approved by the club I'm sure you'll agree. So it was officially on the clubs website.

If you want to see it for yourself I believe that the minutes are still on the trusts website

I said it doesn't matter whether I believe him. He's an official from the club and speaks officially for the club. Nick said it was never officially stated on the clubs website (why the gazzilion times it was said in the CT, on CWR and other media outlets made any difference) it was. By his own standards he clearly believes he was wrong to go.

Anyway. You're still not explaining why SISU should win the JR appeal but won't. You're not dodging the question are you? I know how you always claim not to do that but that's what it looks like.
