And this Tim Fisher becomes managing director based full time at the club. John Clarke bids to be the new Mr Coventry. Surely that means they'll be gone v soon. No chairman appt seems odd though? You'd think the club and Telegraph were in cahoots to sell the saviours of CCFC idea to the fans. Crazy talk.

Strikes me that Sisu have sold any quality we had we the intention of selling up. The pound Hoffman offered originally is now a realistic bid

Interestingly and worryingly Clarke doesn't talk about selling but about investing. Does this mean SISU don't want to sell up just find someone else to fund their losses. Cannot see Hoffman going for this and working alongside these people - he wants control of the club for his group not just to help keep us on life support for a few more months. Also Hoffman has the biggest most important period in his day job coming in the next couple of weeks with Lloyds announcing if they are selling him the bank branches in a multi billion pound deal. Hope he can spend an afternoon talking to these muppets but the timing for him could be an issue.

I got the impression from Dollally's interview they are keen for people to join the sinking ship as apposed to taking it over.

Sisu are clearly hoping that by balancing the books they will make the club appealing to a prospective buyer. But what kind of investor will we get if we will struggle to balance the books in league 1? The debt needs to be written off and we need to buy the stadium. Until that happens we will always struggle. Rich investors needed. Hoffman may not be rich enough.

It's not Hoffman though is it. He is only fronting the bid.

Thought we'd done all this. :thinking about:

To know what is on the table can only mean there is one. I work inside but not for either of these!

He says they're open in the same way they apparently always have been. In essence, no new information or revelation, just a reiteration.

Is this like when they took on Brody?
Is this like when they told everyone at the start that they had to have all the shares because it was part of their investment rules of governance?
As a follow-on from the Dulieu interview Clarke just makes himself look ridiculous if he believes anyone is going to work with SISU.

It still worries me how they talk about 'investment' rather than selling. We all know from experience how stubborn and ruthless these a-holes are, I reckon they'll hold out for investment to try and recoup some of their losses, I don't think they will sell on losing all of their investment.

They won't talk about selling as it compromises their negotiating position.

True but as business people they'd be very silly not to ask.

Exactly. When I present 5 buckets full of cash from the collection they can see real money instead of a load of words written on paper.

That is my intention, but, I don't want to do be the only one. I feel that for the collection to be effective we need more than one bucket and a presence around the ground.

PM me if you're interested in holding a bucket.

I believe that a subsistence allowance of £5 can be taken from the donations collected by the bucket holder.

Who will be the trustee of the cash? How much do we need to raise to buy the club? What happens to the cash if our bid is rejected?
