Another Semi Final ….. this time for our youngsters , but what’s your thoughts on swamping Villa Park for this game ?
To be played on or before Saturday 30th March ……. Getting as many Skyblue as possible to do the short trip & get to another cup final ?

Villa at home to Sat 30th.

It'll be a mid-weeker.

Think it's a bit tinpot actually and shows desperation to see us against Villa...

The other semi-final is Racing Club Warwick vs Leamington. I would imagine a certain supporters club will become like the Montagues and Capulets.

Off topic but I’m curious, have RCW, Sphinx, Cov United ever produced a decent efl player? Could’ve been 16 and scouted from there that type of thing.

This will probably be played at Bodymoor Heath.
They have a pitch that is used for their PL2 games (amongst others) with a small stand.
Don't think many of the league clubs tend to get home draws (by design) so can't remember one being played at a home ground having played in it a few times too. (Could be wrong though).

Depends if there's genuine demand. We would take thousands if they played it at Villa Park.

Was it tinpot when Sunderland took 3000 to Newcastle for an under 18s game?

If it was Sunderland then you've answered your own question
Newcastle took thousands to Sunderland to watch their U21s in the Checkatrade (or whatever it was at the time)

Ben Arthur was on the bench for Brentford on Saturday. He came through Sphinx’s youth system.

Going back to the times when they were AP Leamington Vince O'Keefe , Duncan Gardner both went on to play in the football League. Most notably Roger Brown went to Norwich & captained them . Not sure if Kim Casey went on to a higher level ?

Blimey Kim Casey, remember him coming to Mile Oak Rovers, what a finisher!!

it’s been said before on here, but CAT 1 academy status is vital for the club to progress long term.

I know that he went to Kidderminster Harriers but not sure after that. He was lethal at that level
