Ok, no messing about, the away shirt WC starts right here, right now. Apologies for some of the images but hopefully they are clear enough for you to make your decisions.

8 groups of 7, the top 3 progress. You can vote for 2 kits.

This is a bit trickier than the homes so if I have made any errors with years etc let me know!

So in Group A we have:

24/25 (4th)
18/19 (3rd)
95/96 (A)
08-10 (A)
89-91 (A)
10-12 (A)
96/97 (A)

Anyone not voting purple and yellow need to hand in their SBT log in details on the way out.

Things of beauty, both of them.

Although it was just a standard template kit, that black and green Nike kit was actually nice.
One of the better ones they did for us

That can't be true?!

Anyway, it raises a good point as we're not voting for 'which shirt we won the most points in' but I guess everyone has differing reasons for choosing their favourites.

It was and Leboeuf threw his on the floor and stamped on it. Whilst Zola signed his for a young Cov fan. Difference of men I guess

How is 89-91 not winning this at a canter?!

Or absolutely is true. We’ve never won in purple.

I love that one (although actually prefer the more recent version). Will go through easily so I went with other choices.

Are our away kits better than our home kits?

Think that is probably true for a lot of clubs. More creative licence with away & third kits.

Personally prefer our home kits to away usually, purely as sky blue is such a nice colour scheme.
Green and black stripes are usually our best away kits imo

95/96 and 08/10 for me. 08/10 is one of the only good Puma coventry kits and 95/96 is one of my favourite shirts

Yes but the button-down collar on the purple, can't be having that.

The strangest Hummel shirt is the sort of spurs one they’ve released for us. It was like spurs either the season before or after the cup final. I mean it looks good but is nothing to do with us.

It blows my mind that they released that as a white GK shirt in the Hummel retro range when we only ever wore red or green. Surely nobody has bought it. I'd buy a red or green one in a heartbeat but I'm not purchasing effectively a Spurs shirt.

Yeah. I actually think it looks good, as I did the spurs shirt at the time. But as you quite rightly say, it’s a spurs shirt!

Aren’t they claiming it’s a GK kit? Oggy never wore it for sure.

Personally I hate yellow away kits. Seems like every single team in the league had a yellow kit in the late 1970s early 80s. Almost like the NFL where the away teams always wear white so that the fans aren’t confused about who they’re cheering for.

They’re re-writing history! 85-86 spuds top.
I reckon someone from Hummel fucked up.

That old goalkeeper kit is on here and differs from the one on sale but I can't find any pictures of it being used in a game

Yeah I think it was a prototype (bit like the 96/97 green/black check outfield shirt that does the rounds every now and again).

Its just lazy IMO. Get the red or green GK shirt on sale (as long as it has the FA Cup winners scroll on it) I say.
