I just had a look at the fixtures we are in all likelihood going to get next season, and I have to say, the away games in League 2 look better than the ones we've had this year. There are still not many London games, but there are a few localish ones, plus having some family in the south west opens up a few more possibilities for me at least.

Good ones I've counted:

Notts County
Mansfied (Trains are shit though)
Crewe
Barnet
Forest Green Rovers (If they come up)
Cheltenham
Notts County (Hooters baby!)
Luton
Blackpool
Cambridge

What away games are you looking forward, and which do you think can be good?

I'll be doing the stadiums that I need.
Mansfield
Barnet
FGR (if promoted)
Cheltenham
Exeter (if they don't get promoted)
Accrington
Newport (if they pull off a miracle)
Lincoln (if they don't mess it up).

I'll be pissed off if Pompey get promoted (which is looking more and more likely!). That would have been a great day out for me. Quick hovercraft across, bus to Fratton Park then return after the match. Back home for around 6pm. :emoji_disappointed:

Not many North West teams in league 2 so away days are going to be thin on the ground for me. Chesterfield is easy enough (assuming they get relegated along with us) but thats about it.

I'd be tempted by Notts County, Mansfield, Blackpool, Luton and Chesterfield (if they come down too). Always go to games against the Notts clubs because my Dad lives there, makes for a good day out. Means Mansfield is a possibility too. Got family in Preston too so be good to see them around the Blackpool match. Luton and Chesterfield gives me a chance to see mates and have a piss up afterwards

You going Notts County twice? Hooters is rubbish.

Personally fancy doing Cheltenham (been for racing but never football), Barnet, Cambridge, Accrington. Only wish York would get back into the league. Carlisle I wouldn't mind either if they don't come up.

Looking forward to this one as eldest son is season ticket holder there. Don't forget passport control near Blackburn and a Benedictine chaser with your pint

I'd like to do Mansfield. Me and my lad went to see Cheltenham vs Bury a couple of years back. Nice little ground and an easy trip so would like to go to that one. X

Basically all northern (or northern-ish) grounds I've never been to before.

I can't wait for next season. This one has been so shit I just want to wipe it from my memory and start again. Even if we're not that good in league two to win some games and compete again would be something. Loads of south west games for me too.

Of the 147 grounds I've been to Cheltenham is joint top with Chester as the worst place to watch football.

Lincoln was good though.

3 of my kids live in or near Grimsby. One of my lads is a Grimsby STH. Depending on what time of year it is I could well go in with the Grimsby supporters again. It is the coldest ground I have been to. The north Sea wind cuts straight across the away end.

Have family in Skeggy so would have to do a few days for visiting.

I go past Manchester a couple of hours into my journey so could help out a bit if destination takes me down the M6.

Didn't like either ground and the places themselves weren't really geared up for football.

Look. We're scraping the barrel. We are at our lowest point in as long as I can remember.

Give me a break. Notts County away and Hooters are about all I've got left to live for.
