14.39th according to my quick calcs.
I am shocked. Having lived through it I thought it would be lower.

So there you are, our final position of this season..
Drum Roll
14th or 15th.

We have been a pants football team generally.
How many teams would have a lower average? Although commendable that we survived over 30 years in the top flight. Coventry City established a reputation for winning relegation fights throughout that time & need to summon up that historic spirit & culture this season , quickly. Cos we are in another one.

A great time. Average attendance over 30,000 & playing against the biggest clubs in the country for the first time in our history.

I know you were building up to this but I am impatient.

Average position excluding Robins since 2017 - 15.26
Average position under Robins - 8th.

No doubt in my mind either.
Robins deserves his statue next to J.H.
Respectfully divert the funds from Sillett & Curtis. Coventry City are not a 4 Statue Football Club.

Tommy Hutch could do with one, acknowledged as our greatest ever player. That would make us a five statue club. I don’t think that’s a problem.

You can't divert from the 2 that gave us our 1 and only major honour

I do love the way we’ve got threads demanding his head on a platter & also a thread saying we should have a statue of him outside the CBS

Most years in the top flight we weren’t in massive relegation trouble.

As someone who first watched in 1972 I wouldn’t swap finishing high up in L1 and L2 - I’d rather have been averaging 15th in the top flight and many supporters of other clubs have never been near the top flight

I think we stopped up on the last day of the season 10 times (!?!) over the 32years ? Most (more than 50%) years were relegation battles of sorts I reckon. Interesting to recall Man Utd were amongst those relegated when we were an established Div 1 club.
In fact I recall Cov City, Arsenal & Everton were the only teams in the top flight never to have been relegated.
