The Irish in fine form last night defeating Wales in a fast moving performance ,lovely tempo to their play .
Meanwhile Argentina beat New Zealand , would have been a canny bet I'm sure , quite historic.

Yup. Watched England v Georgia on Amazon.

It's getting to be a "Guess Which Channel" game every week for all kinds of sport, lately.

Ah. I ended up watching a re-run of the Argentina v NZ game from this morning. Brilliant performance from the Pumas, but NZ were really poor at the same time.

Why rugby is rubbish

1) In the film Brief Encounter, the main love affair (between two quacking poshos) is shadowed by the comic tryst between the idiot maid and the drooling postman. It's a bit like that episode of the Twilight Zone where David 'Man From Uncle' McCallum plays a slack-jawed retard who is given an...

Good to see rugby on " normal" telly. But too many commentators I feel.

I'm sticking with my prediction of England to lift the trophy. Going to be close though no doubt.

What a nail biter that was but never in doubt ! Joking, France could have won that, but fair play to Farrell who held his nerve to convert at the end, as his kicking was iffy today. Phew !
