Remember watching him in the evening kick off Cup game at Old Trafford as part of a City side that made Man U look positively ordinary. Nice to know he's still knocking around.

You know what lads i think i still had sleep in my eyes and red wine coursing through my veins . Mifsuds goal was scored by someone else he never got the touch, and has'nt scored for a couple of months ,I think . Aloisi Is the manager of Melbourne Heart, not WSW ,and not doing too well ,speculating he may have saved his job after getting a couple of draws,So with all that inaccuracy I appolagise and will leave the journalism to David Conn.

Edit; Oh and the level Is similar to ours .

Mifsud has not scored at all this season, and is largely viewed by most of the Melbourne football public as a complete waste of money.

Unfortunately he is playing in one of the worst teams in the league and is receiving less than stellar service.

At its best the A-League is similar to League One. Western Sydney Wanderers are one of the better teams to watch which is why it was a fairly good match. Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory are probably the other two really good teams to watch.

At its worst though....it really is bog standard.

Sydney FC's nickname is The Sky Blues, they have a 44,000 seater stadium, currently sit 3rd in the A-league and have Alessandro Del Piero as captain

Nice!

I was on a 16 tram last year in Melbourne and talked to two Melbourne Heart fans on how they had got on that day. They won and I was pleased for them.

I asked what the crowd was and it was around the 3 thousand mark. Although Melbourne Heart are a new team I thought that is a joke crowd knowing what Melbourne Victory get , about 19K per game.

Little did I know that Melbourne Heart crowds even at that level are bigger than Coventry City's now.
This is a joke.
