Attendance? (1 Viewer)

It wasn't bad considering Sunday's result and that it was mid week. Has anyone noticed how much the average age of our fans seems to go down when it's only a fiver to get in? Perhaps a straight £5 pounds for all under 18's for all home games might not be a bad idea? It would really help win over the next generation of fans and might have the added bonus of increasing crowd numbers.

Young fans also love cup comps as they are trophies and at a fiver then always get a younger crowd.

Looked nearer 9-10K for me and took just as long for Tesco's to clear .

Surprised at the attendance announced. Looked more. Someone I spoke to after the game said the turnstile he went through had run out of tickets. Still, decent turn out.

maybe there was 32,000 there then.

What was funny is that they still had stewards on the doors and the stand was shut???

I wasn't suggesting it was way out, just looked a little under. They were clearly rushing people through at the end because people were still queuing 10 mins after kick off. Who knows. Not really important.

Yea I didn't get a ticket when I went through the turnstile, just handed over cash and went through.

Great atmosphere in the corner.

If turnstiles run out of tickets the counting goes out the window. Sounded a decent atmosphere on the radio. Better than usual anyway.

Tony is spot on about the under 18 idea.

Yep friend was up there and said it was good. I agree with what others have said that prices should definitely be lower for under 18s as they are the future of the club and more than likely will generate a better atmosphere.

Most definitely, a big number of the fans up in the corner tonight were under the age of 20, they are the ones who will create the atmosphere.

Unfortunately for a 16 year old to watch a league game they have to pay £15 (there or there abouts).

There always seems to be a good atmosphere at the cup night games

Yeah, for a number of reasons. The main two are the fact Under 25s can watch the game for a fiver (the ones who create the atmosphere) and the fact the north stand is closed.

The fiver is a great offer and I applaud the club : I know they make some terrible decisions but credit where credits due.
Should we get a home draw in semi (hopefully) they keep it to a fiver :)

Cracking turnout from Plymouth for a midweek JPT game. I do put a lot of that down to the Ricoh itself to a degree, if it was Northampton it would have been a couple of hundred.
