Ashdown - maybe a touch harsh but I really think the last few games of last season under AT we played some superb attacking football but two of the main fulcrums of this, King up front and Gunnarson driving from midfield have gone and not been replaced adequately or like for like. Whilst Cody may come good he will never be as good a player as King, who may have been low life off the pitch but was class on it and Bigi, whilst showing bundles of promise does not drive forward as much as Gunnar used to. So overall we have regressed back into a more defensively minded team with the focus on not conceding rather than scoring. Our possession play of last year had an end product whilst all too often this season we tap it about, retaining possession but the lack of movement from midfield and up front hampers the distribution and all too often it eventually breaks down and is simply passed back to Murphy to launch up field. Its not hoofball but occasionally it might as well be. Now with Baker out for a couple of months the only attacking midfielder we have is Sheff - god help us!!!

Well i wont be there, its too far to travel for a mid week game and as being a season ticket holder i feel like im throwing money away!

But i will be getting my live football fix tonight, going to the pompey vs the posh with a few local lads down here, bit of a recce of the boozers for when we play pompey!

I'll be there as usual BUT i understand why people dont bother anymore. were the worst team in the history of football leagues and weve had nothing to cheer about.

us hardcore will always be there but i feel this will be the game where the attendance is below 10k. Champions league football poor away following

I think 11500. Interestingly the record low attendence at the Ricoh was exactly a year ago against Donny.

Travelling down with a few buddies so paying on the gate, any recommendations for seats that may have at least a touch of atmosphere??

Block 15+16 under the scoreboard has the most atmosphere.

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say tonight may see the first goal for Cody Mac I just hope he gets long enough on the pitch and its not a consolation. I shall be in attendance too, I'm quite looking forward to it now { Always a bad sign is a little hopeful expectation}.

I was bang on as I said I would be.

Said between 14 and 17,000 and was proved right.

Never, ever only going to be 14 people there though was there! I covered all the bases.
