Yeah. Mad they're not getting picked up.

Surely the linesman saw the Oxford one clearly enough and today, I can't believe the ref missed that one.

Are the club saying anything to the authorities about them?

Mad isn't it that Kitching was sent off for being headbutted last year and these 2 offences have gone unpunished.

Don't think it can if he was booked.

Didn't realise that, thought the ref took no action. It was only 20 feet away from me but I was simultaneously going mental while trying to stop my glasses being crushed in a bear hug from a stranger.

So punching a player is only a yellow card offence now is it.

Ffs at this rate players will need stab vests before the seasons out!

Our players need to start falling like a deck of cards and flailing their arms. Basically make it so obvious to the ref that he’s got no choice but to send off the player. No use pleading with the ref after the incident.

Same for yesterday’s goal where Dovin was clearly impeded and couldn’t even move to get across goal. Total nonsense.

The ref might not have seen the punch? If he saw two players grappling, then two yellows was the right decision.

it does depend on what is in the refs report

if he mentions the swinging arm then that' sit, if not they can take action.

I don't think you can overturn a yellow. And without VAR the yellow couldn't be upgraded in the match.

i think that is only with VAR at the time.

i don't think you can retrospectively change a red to a yellow after a game

I think they can downgrade the punishment but rarely happens?

If he did Send the Player off, he Would've Sent Hadji off as well to Even things up and it Would've been a 3 match ban. So you Could say the Referee did us a Favour.

I think the club needs to complain to the football authorities and if they do nothing, and it keeps happening then the player should report to the police. Even though it’s football, under the law it is still assault occasioning battery, and if a formal complaint is made the police have to act. That would soon force the football authorities to do something

There were some pretty poor refereeing decisions over the weekend. How Joelinton wasn’t sent off for dragging the Bournemouth goalkeeper down by the neck…… And then in our game, the guy grabs Wright whose just running off with the ball, and then swings a punch at him. The ref booking them both was just a cop out. And for Bristol’s goal, the player in the offside position was definitely obstructing the goalkeeper. Having said that, we definately didn’t deserve to win, so I’m not whinging about it too much.

and that was a terrible decision but the ref said he butted back which is what the ref sent him off for.

it's different to a 2 handed push in the chest

It absolutely is different, I just don't have that much faith in officials.
