Sorry to hear that and hope all goes well for you.
I have just been referred for X-rays on my Pelvis/Hips, been in pain last couple of years so hopefully getting somewhere now.

Thanks for that. Acually looking forward to getting my mobilty back. Can't believe how quick it's all happening. 5 weeks from referral to the operating table. It's in oxfordshire so very pleased with the speed of things. My only concern is they now perform the replacement under epideural rather than a geneal anaesthetic.

Hope all goes well with you.

Good luck, I've been insanely fortunate to have had both knees replaced in the space of 10 months. Listen to your physio and do exactly what they say.

We have gone from the best atmosphere to the worst since the WC break. What happened? Reading was as bad.

Corner was half empty and those in it didn't seem to be interested. The club still haven't explained why they stopped sales of tickets there.

The atmosphere in the West Stand was better. Have people moved seats to that side?

Think the cold doesn’t help. For a start you can’t hear most people clapping cos they’ve got gloves on. People want to sit wrapped up. Others don’t want to go at all cos cold or Christmas. Also Swansea bore the crap out of teams which dampens crowds. I’d wait to see how it is against West Brom before making any judgements.

Didn't think it was that bad. Not the best admittedly.
I thought Reading was poor but a couple of people who watched on IFollow told me yesterday they thought it came over as OK.

Thought it sounded ok on the TV as well, not close to what we usually do but still better then 90% of other home crowds.

Fully agree with this. As feeble as some may see it I think conditions have everything to do with it. Can’t remember many good atmospheres in cold weather.

Conditions yes but I wouldn’t say Swansea were boring at all. A good side that always looked dangerous

They had about 60 odd % of the play as many shots as us scored as many goals as us I wish every team comes with their attitude instead or defending and time wasting.

Right. This was about atmospheres being down because it’s cold though.

Doesn't take much working out. Every game the club have to put out a statement about issues in that corner. There was also talk of the safety group wanting extra measures put in place

A lot less than that actually in the ground. Plenty of season ticket holders not there yesterday.

Club have admitted on twitter in a reply to someone that they have blocked off every seat the end of each row in the corner. Must add up to hundreds of unsold seats.

We've only got ourselves to blame tbh. There's been warning after warning and rather than listening people have decided they know better. End result, club gets restrictions placed on them and the atmosphere suffers
we were required to stop selling unsold end seats on rows due to the overcrowding and standing issues identified by authorites during the close season

Getting in to block 15 yesterday was like trying to get into area 51. About 7 stewards blocking the stairs and my perfectly valid block 15 season ticket was checked by about 5 of them before they let me through

Even getting into the ground for block 24 was like boarding a flight. Took forever to get in with only four or five in front of us. Any ideas why security has gone up?

Reading was a strange game anyway, mid season break and half a mind on the England game.

I have a season ticket in block 15 but family wanted to go so got tickets there thinking it would be good , they was disappointed to say the least even when we scored. I was half expecting someone getting rattles out

Also doesnt help when on team gets 70% of the ball.

But agree Freezing temperatures dont help. Think it was below our usual zest.

People blaming the weather!? Have a word! I was fucking boiling about 15 minutes in, took off jumper and gloves. Atmosphere was fine until we scored the 3rd, then every fucker thought it was game over and started chatting amoungst themselves.

Warning for what?

The overcrowding issue is the club/safety group's fault. They keep closing seats there. First Block 13 (absolutely no reason why that cannot be open) and now closing the end seats. That's the best part of 1000 seats blocked. Maybe if they opened them, people wouldn't need to sneak up. You currently cannot buy a ticket up there for any game for the rest of the season.

What happens if we play United at home in the cup. Are they going to keep those 1000 seats empty and limit the away end to 4000 like they have done for Wrexham? Coventry fans are no worse than others in the country.

It's embarrassing that the segregation keeps getting bigger because one fan ran past stewards and police officer's against Derby.

Here you go, this was this weeks, there's been numerous articles the same warning people to sit in the correct seat, sit not stand, not stand in the walkways, not go on the pitch, not to throw flares, sure there's other things.

NEWS: Coventry City re-iterate the importance of safe behaviour of supporters on matchdays

Coventry City are re-iterating the importance of safe behaviour of supporters on matchdays at the Coventry Building Society Arena, ahead of our first game back following the World Cup break.
