Following on from Breen v Konjic.

These 2 were a cracking partnership, touch choice for me I would probably go for Atherton as he was a bit more solid. I think its far to say we saw the best of Babb at centre half where as Atherton moved on and was just as solid elsewhere.

Babb edged Atherton, but unfairly overshadowed him. The loss of Atherton to Wednesday was massive - and for far less than he was worth.

Agreed Atherton was a rock - underrated and understated but excellent.
