Doable this chase. Hopefully Root anchors and lets others play the aggressor. Needs one good innings - each innings so far has had only the one 50+ score. Is that Root drop of Marsh going to haunt them???

Would’ve taken chasing 220 odd with ten wickets remaining at start and snapped your hand off when it was just stokes left in our first innings. Having said that, we’ve found numerous ways to let good positions slip in the ashes so far though so can’t get too excited !

Need openers to put a few on to take the sting out the Aussies

Ali at 3 was fine, it didn't work but Brook wasn't the answer there and we've not wasted a frontline batter
