Only 1 point outside the relegation zone. Luckily Yeovil losing and orient drawing. Very important 30 mins ahead

7 wins when you need around 15, plus five draws usually to stay up. we're definitely going down.

Just looked at the next 7 games - only picked one out as a win. By the time that we reach the final group of 'easier' games that Otis pointed out on a recent thread, there is a real possibility we could be a few points adrift. I think Yeovil are doomed, and had Crawley in that bracket until today (can anybody on here picture City getting 4 against anybody, let alone 5 att the moment?). Leyton Orient still possess several players who have done well in this league before (Cox, Mooney etc). Please City, grow a pair, or we're off on a L2 debacle next year - and I'd only give us 50/50 of finishing in the top half of that.

I can't believe that we think anything on the pitch matters with these wankers in charge - that's the battle we need to win

With our next 2 games against Sheffield United and MK Dons, I wonder if Waggot is regretting his interview the other day. The game after that away to Barnsley could put even more daylight between us and the teams above with Scunthorpe having games in hand.

Waggot has absolutely no idea whatsoever is required - in fact him and Fisher seem to be doing exactly what they mean to - i.e. - they mean for this to happen

well overdue for these characters to be brought to book for their wanton reduction /destruction,
of a proud club,
imho they are not fit or proper to run a football club,
confidentiality clauses will restrict certain persons,
but this continued destruction of CCFC is totally abhorrent,

But it's all good.

We go down and that will mean Sisu can start looking for a much smaller plot of land to accomodate us and the stadium will then only need to be of 5,000 capacity.

The plan is one of pure genius.

The further we fall through the leagues the less and less relevant a stadium becomes and the less and less viable building one becomes. Stadium naming rights are worth significantly less money and getting someone else to help pay for it like tescos or a casino becomes impossible. It's not at all viable in league 1 of course but it's even less viable in league 2. They aren't building a stadium if we stay up and they sure as hell aren't building a stadium if we go down.

Can also the reduce the costs of the playing squad as we can remove the high earners.

As the club will still charge the same ticket prices then there will be cash flow improvements.

if we got relegated it wouldn't take much to make an agreement with the other Coventry rugby club ;-) and help to bring the butts up to league 2 standard, especially if the rugby club got promoted, of course thats still much worse than playing at the ricoh would but shut up those who think our entire problems are based on missing out on a small amount of food and beverage profit.

Which will be lost by the average attendance halving if we are in league 2 next season and even less chance of a big cup bonus, less tv money, less prize money and things like the academy costs becoming a much larger percentage of revenue, also you are less likely to make millions selling academy prospects when they are league 2 proven instead of league one.

Nobody this time thinking we'd walk Div' 2. Indeed, I'm more worried about the other end of that table.

Stop thinking about long term and consider the short term benefits.

There are also many seaside towns in League 2.

Not really, you need almost as much land to build a small stadium as a big one since the size of the pitch is fixed. And the construction costs of a small stadium are not that much different to a big one.
But it will never happen anyway. If they wont buy a player, they wont build a stadium.

The glimmer of hope I have of gaining something from this season is that it will finish with the knowledge that you'll still be playing villa next season as you'll both be in the championship
