The bit about stocking the club shop up before Xmas sums them up for me.

"Three words sum up our owners – seven wasted years. These ‘businessmen’ seem to lack the acumen to even stock a club shop at Christmas, so perhaps we shouldn’t expect too much."

I take it either your reading or listening is very limited, as previously reported in the press & radio the lead time for ordering additional stock is between 20 & 30 weeks.

Makes it difficult also when you've had a break-in?

Guess you also forgot we were playing in Northampton so demand would have been more limited, Coventry return at that stage wasn't planned for.

The break in is not really an acceptable excuse though is it?

20 - 30 week delivery time means the order would have been put in around June time, to be delivered in December. A break in during September will have had no impact on Christmas stock whatsoever.

Should never have moved away .

Maybe your mate Fisher should stump up for the lost revenues of that and the Shop debacle .

Rather than the owner wasting further equity and Circa £4M of player sales covering his Ass .

His effect on this football club will be felt for decades you delusional fool and all the others that sit over the table from him buying his BS.

I don't know if you read my reply to that but as someone who works for a company who imports products from India I can tell you first hand that is complete bollocks.

We buy specialised electronic equipment that is made to order and it's 10-12weeks from order to delivery to our door. 4-6 week's ex works, the factory is about as central India as you can get so 1 week by road to port, weekly sailing's (that's sailing's i.e. more than one) so it's never any longer than a week at port, just over 3 weeks by sea to the UK, cleared customs in 2-3 days and then 1 day by road to our door. The only time that changes is March as it's traditionally India's end of year so local companies get everything that they can invoiced and to port causing port congestion.

Good piece, although the comment re McQuoid I'm not sure on. Wouldn't say I've felt he hasn't put the effort in. Started well but lack of form and being the fall guy due to the number of loanees probably hit his confidence.

I could get then knocked up in 1 month, better quality and still make money on them.
Continue to make excuses for this sad lot and you will remain what you are. Someone to laugh at.

Your statement is incorrect, the same lead times 20 to 30 weeks at Next fact as I know several buyers who work there!

RFC to the rescue what would Sisu do without you?...
What's your role within Sisu? How much are you paid by them?

So the Xmas stock would have been ordered in June.
Once the equipment is set up the quantity is irrelevant.
I would suggest once we moved back to the Ricoh, about the time of the break in, the quantities could be greatly increased.
Garbage I'm afraid.

Off course you do. Tell me do they order their winter range in time for winter and summer range in time for summer.

My statement is 100% correct. I don't know the buyer, I am the buyer and part of my job is progressing orders and handling the document with the UK handling Agent to get MY orders through customs and delivered so I know exactly and I do mean exactly how long it takes.

Maybe the Chinese stole it back as Sisu hadn't paid for it?

What happened to the stolen stock not seen any cheap gear for sale on the internet?

I doubt they would have got there hands on it in the first place without paying. Export regularly is 100% pro-forma invoice especially if it's a special order. It's not like they could sell them off on the cheap to another football club. Could you imagine the uproar if some of our kit turned out to be say....... Leicester rejects.

To get back to my original point. It could be that the need to pay in advance means that they can't order.

Oh of course, the break in!! That explains it all! They were still able to stock vests with the Leicester logo on them however!

Twat!

Demand was limited and justifiably so. If it hadn't been, we would still be there playing at that dump!

not sure why people keep asking where the wilson, clarke and arsenal money has gone - its quite clearly gone towards operating costs/losses from last season, just like bigi, keogh, gunnar/turner payments, tottenham and arsenal cup ties, etc went on funding operating costs/losses in the 2012/13 season.

agreed and he's still joint top scorer..

think a few had his card marked as he was brought in on the wilson deal, and initially wanted to stay at bournemouth to fight for his place.

I order a lot of merchandise for tours, including football and hockey shirts. If the club are being quoted those sort of lead times they need to change suppliers. I've never been quoted more than 8 weeks and that's for customs designs from scratch. These are standard Puma designs with our badge whacked on the front.

Even if they can't get stuff from Puma they could easily source stuff from other suppliers. If they used a UK supplier the lead time would be unlikely to be much more than a week.

This is getting weird, Superbowl will be on us soon and of course nobody knows who will be there but the shops will be full of team stuff for whoever does.

Likewise new fashion comes along and the chains have knock offs in stock very quickly.

More interesting is why stock levels have been runs down, it was not accidental.

IIRC the smallest size that got taken was XXXL. There were jokes about where would they be sold on.

So why are they not investing anything in our club whatsoever? Are they on borrowed time and this latest court case could be the end? I bloody well hope so.

You can build a new car and ship to Australia and get to a customer within 16 weeks using normal freight methods.

These lead times quoted are silly .

I work for Hyundai. Santa fe is built in South Korea, 12 weeks delivery and that's built and transported by boat. RFC talks complete shit, Sisu have no cash to buy players, stock or anything for that matter, the only reason they continue to litigate is you settle the bill at the end. Bunch of Jokers, Juggy called it as we all see it.
