Probably living in cloud cuckoo land but I fancy us to win 1-0 or grab a 1-1 draw.

Whenever I see Cov away in the FA Cup we always win.

8-0 Arsenal. We're not even as good as we were last year and they'll be better. We're going to get stuffed.

Fear that you are correct shmmeee Absolutely NOT looking forward to this one! Obviously the league is our priority but what effect will a heavy defeat have on our young side?

2-1 to City!! Leon x1 and I fancy Christie to score as well in front of the Sky Blue Army who are going bonkers all game while the Arsenal fans keep up their usual library type support!

Was also at that game......what a bloody awful day that was. Left before the end and missed our goal (Hatley?) Went straight up to Manchester to watch the Bees v Belle View thinking that they could not lose and thus cheer ourselves up. Guess what.....they lost too!!!!

5-0 methinks maybe more....if we keep them down to 3 it would be great and I would be really proud. All the best City.

Yeah but we'd had Thorn and Shaw. It was Robins' second game in charge and IIRC the first where we started to play like he wanted us to.

It's more about the quality of player we had, especially in defence. Remember we held out at 0-0 until half time. Can't see that happening again.

I still remember us beating the then Premiership champions Blackburn 5-0 when we hadn't won in forever. Even the players looked shocked it was happening.

We were 1-0 down at HT. And quality of player at the back? IIRC back 4 was J Clarke, Wood, Brown and Reckord. Personally more happy with Christie, Webster, Seaborne and Adams if I'm honest.

6-0 arsenal. We're better going forward this season but worse at the back and far more inexperienced.

I really cannot see Arsenal fielding anything more than fringe players, with maybe 3 or 4 regulars.
And why would they risk Oxlade-Chamberlin unless they fall behind.
I'm hoping for 6-1 to us but fear it will be the other way.

1-1 until the 80th minute, then our legs will go and they will get 2 late goals so 3-1 to the arse.

We also played 5 in midfield with 2 holding defensive midfield players - Jennings and Bailey.

If you go into a game thinking you're gonna get stuffed, you're gonna get stuffed.
Of course we can win, and that's why i'm going to cheer us on.

I think we will get beat as Arsenal want to win a trophy this season and even a weakened team could still rip our defence apart.I hope it's not a rout as we have Orient a few days later.if they keep it to 4-1 that won't be a disaster.

That's the right attitude.
Arsenal don't shoot. It's just pass, pass, pass.
Goalie is still shit, and defence is wobbly. Podolski's only interested is porn.
They're there for the taking.

Sorry 40 minutes.

It's all about opinions and that but I don't think that as a unit we are as tight defensively as we were under Robins last season. Not man for man, but as a unit.

We are obviously better going forward, but that tends to be less relevant in a matchup like this because most of the game will be played in our half.

When teams have pinned us back this season we've been battered. We will be pinned back on Friday.

Think a lot will depend who Mr Wenger picks for the arse (hold that thought )

Likely to get beat by more than a couple, but just hoping we can stick one in for those there on the night (and watching, listening elsewhere). 4-1 to them, but hope it's 2-1 to us (Moussa in the 99th minute )

Don't think either last season's or this season's defences have been great! In the games I've seen, we seem to do okay defensively for most of the game, but get undone by silly errors/poor marking. Undoubtedly, the high pressing game left us more open earlier in the season until Pressley came out and said we needed to get the balance right.

Think comfortable win for Arsenal but not as big 3-0 similar to Spurs result last season I reckon.
