Anyone any idea how many sold so far? Assume they'll be on sale tomorrow still for those with an Away record this season?

Thanks

About 1100 was sold by Tuesday 3pm.

The rest is speculation on my part, but say 600 sold on Wednesday when it was expanded to members

Then today it opened up to FA cup / pre-purchase Sixfield attendees... say 1500 sold today

That would bring us to around 3200 by the end of today, at a completely random, but kinda educated, guess.

Leaving just shy of 2000 for away and then the general sale splits

I'm guessing, from what I saw, that a lot of people were in small groups to get seats together if needed more than 2 tickets.

Also, I personally wanted to get the coach booked, which I couldn't see online this morning so thought I would go down anyway

For some reason, even though I was using a ST alongside my membership it would only allow me to buy 2 on my membership and 2 on the ST. I had to go into the shop to get the 5th ticket... as it happens they are selling different blocks in the shop which are more behind the goal than the ones being sold online...

would be better if the majority going to arsenal went to a far more meaningful game at Preston and filled the 5000 allocation Saturday instead.

I think Astute is going to come along in a minute and ask you all not to go.

what is all this nonsense about the preston game being more 'important' and 'meaningful'. this is our biggest match in years, a chance to knock out Arsenal away and re-live the glory years. where has the romance gone?

quite right - we are fucked in the league now, another year of neither up nor down so a Friday night in London is of course more appealing than a 200 mile trip to see Preston cloggers

Doesn't need to in my case as I won't now be going. I was looking forward to going to the Emirates for the first time and I was in with a shout of making it well before kick off coming from work. Need to find a pub showing it now.

I get your point to an extent, but "biggest match in years" when we played there last season and played at White Hart Lane?

Completely agree with Ned. 'Concentrating on the league' has got us nowhere for a very long time and I'm bored with it all. If we're ever in the top 6 of a league one day I might get more interested. We're famous FA Cup winners so let's enjoy a good old fasioned cup tie to remind us of better times, and it's just possible Arsenal will underestimate us.
