I think there's a league rule that anyone who's on loan until the end of the season can't be recalled. Need to check if that is only if they sign at the start of the season.

Long Term Loan Transfers shall be for a full Playing Season; or from any date prior to 31stAugust to any date between 1st and 31st January; or from any date between 1st and 31stJanuary (the January transfer window) to the end of the Playing Season. A Player on Long Term Loan may not be recalled, except for a goalkeeper or where thePlayer is to be transferred permanently by the Club (or club) holding his registeredcontract.

seems like we are safe

Perhaps it's been done as 2 separate loan periods...

doesnt matter - loan is between 1 and 31 jan to end of season = more than the 93 days for a short term loan
he cant be recalled
