Hiw much of this seasons start and good run was down to that one player, theone no one was looking out for, but that took the league by storm!!!
Wilson did it, armstrong did it, but we take them out of the equation or the form drops ( or they get marked out of the game etc ) and thats out trump card gone.
Dont get me wrong we have some great league 1 champsionship players, but hiw much if their form and space to play was created by the suprise that was wilson or armstrong? And once teams take that away , those players become a bit more average , and it shows why they were surplus at the clubs they were at previously... Just a thiught, as its fair to say that both wilson and armstrong came outta nowhere to be very very well regarded strikers that will be / are playing their trade in the premier league
