Chairman Manny Cohen:
“It was a fantastic occasion for the club and one we'll all never forget,” Mr Cohen told the Observer.“Coventry treated us amazingly well. The result could have been better but they looked after us and treated us well.
“The players did the club proud with their performance and it could have been a different story had we taken our chances but Coventry showed their quality in the end.
“We're four divisions below so it was such a great honour for us to play a club like Coventry. We'll be keeping an eye on their results in the future and I hope they can return to the where they once were one day.”
I'd never even heard of them prior to the game so they have done their profile no harm at all. Good luck to them, it must be hard running a club on gates of less than 200 so I expect the £20,000 or so they would have picked up from Saturday would have been a big bonus.
They seem a decent looking club! And i agree they did themselves no harm! In fact they done themselves very proud. Only conceding 3 against a team of full timers, 4 divisions above you isnt all that bad! And they deserved the applause at the end
