Apologies if I have missed something however, I am pretty sure that we were due to hear things in the last court case and the JR that was going to shock us and change our views.

Now I think this revolves around the allegation that the council were conspiring to to get SISU out and get new owners in.

The Council and the Higgs charity both own half of ACL. If the football club does well ACL does well. If it goes in a downward spiral it affects ACL.

You are the council.

New owners take over the football club in doing so they accept the terms of a rental contract already in place.

They promise premiership football which if achieved will increase the value of ACL as a business

Gradually under their stewardship the average attendances fall at the football stadium. Premiership football is not achieved and relegation is.

I assume this reduces any profits in ACL and reduces its value as a whole.

The owners complain about the rental contract they signed and stop paying the rent. This forces you to negotiate the rent, at the same time it lowers the value of ACL.

Around this time they are also negotiating to buy half of ACL which through their actions has significantly devalued in their opinion.
I am guessing at this point you are not best pleased with them.

Then someone comes along who wants to buy the club and again has aspirations of getting it promoted back to the championship.

You realise that if you refinance a loan to your company it maybe able to stay in business. It may hold its value and it may free you of been held over a barrel by these poorly performing club owners.

They will either sell up or deal with you in a more reasonable way. Or a third option, you probably didn't believe plausible they take the club to Northampton and try and sue the pants off you.

If the shocking revelation is that SISU think the council hoped new owners would come in. Well in my humble opinion no shit Sherlock and I think most of us if we are truly honest with ourselves would have done the same.

Some on here if SISU did it would laud their ruthless business skills would you not?

The one thing for me that has come out of this JR farce is the fact that in restructuring the YB loan ACL were in a position to offer Shitzu a much lower rent and yet they not only threw that offer back into their faces but then took legal action against them! Unbelievable!

Joy was miffed because she wanted to own the mortgage. Then ACL and CCFC would be paying into the SISU coffers.
