Has SP sacking made a difference to your choice?

I know we had a few days ago but SP is now gone. Or does it depend on league 1 survival?

I think it's a thread worth having. I am a lot more encouraged than 3-4 days ago.

at the moment no
I need to see intent from Sisu and a manager (not necessarily a name) who understands the demands of a supporter
We cant win every week - but we want to see a team who are playing for the shirt in the opposition half, and creating chances

so ive budgeted to get a season ticket - but have plenty of other places(or rather the wife does) on how that may be spent

We have already decided not to renew. Sacking Pressley will not change that, and nor would survival in this division. We shall only be back when we have new owners who show clear ambition to take the club forwards. So breath not being held.

SISU are still here, so I doubt people will.

I am still undecided. Like I said in the other thread it's not just the football, but the feeling of playing in someone else's stadium.

I'll still get a season ticket. I had made a decision not to attend any more away games whilst SP was in charge. Yeovil and Gillingham tin hatted it for me after the Doncaster match. I might get to a few now though.
When you can see basic errors in formation, selections and substitutions that the manager can't it doesn't bode well, especially if its costing the best part of £60 to get to the game.

Seems split to me. People still see sisu as their issue for not renewing and that's fair enough.

No from me. It has no bearing on if we get relegated, its whether SISU are still here.

If we get relegated and SISU disappear, I renew
If we stay up and SISU remain, I don't renew

Lets just hope we stay up and SISU f**k off.

No, Pressley may have lost the dressing room and needed to go but I don't believe he is the main issue at all and I still see no hope of success while Sisu are here. hopefully we'll get the bump in form that so often comes when sacking a manager and that will be enough to keep us up but I don't believe a new manager will bring long term success or a realistic chance of promotion while the club continues with sisu and with signing mostly loans and very short contracts. The main bulk of a squad needs to be 2 year contracts supplemented with great loans that fill in positions where you are weak, not just whoever you can get.

We have always rented if off someone else ??
If Sisu had got it we would have rented off them ??
When I go up it's CCFC's stadium and away fans think the same when I speak to them in the casino.
Poor excuse.

Yes, it may well change my thinking. It wasn't just the on-field stuff of course though, it's all the shit off it too.

If a new man comes in and proves to change our fotunes as was the case with Mark Robins, then I think a fair few will change their minds.

I wasn't particularly looking forwards to Saturday's game at all before today, but now all of a sudden I am very excited. I think we are now in with an excellent chance of gaining a good result. If SP had stll been here it was looking very much like a nailed on win for MK Franchise.

Still the same squad of players who have us in this mess, same people at the helm above cutting the cloth, same rotten issues at the club, so why it would change anyones mind, I have no idea.

I cant see thousand rushing back because SP has gone,, he is not the head of the snake... Nothing changes, even if we gain a few wins,, Hockaday gets a contract, Sisu still run the club as they have,, only with hockaday being the mouth piece....Sisu need to go before majority will see a difference or have any hope to put time and effort in on giving up time and money....

Changes in management can straighten players' heads out a bit and breath new life into a setup. It isn't beyond the realms of possibility that in what is (certainly in my opinion) a poor league, that a new man with a fresh set of eye could come in and win two or three games on the bounce. If this were to happen and we stay up without too many qualms an upward curve of success at the end of the season would see many renew who may not have done beforehand. I think that its results and a poor brand of football keeping the majority people away and not the owners.

Chance would be a fine thing, of course.
