Not heard anything. Is he any good?

If so, I would say no, we can't be in for him!

Haven't heard anything on this. It's probably one of the ones we should have kept quiet.

Seems to be the way we're going then! Maybe this is AT's plan B-completely change tactics, throwing our opponents in the process, sign as many huge strikers as possible, then HOOF! Welcome to The Crazy Gang Mark II (although we have even less money and an even worse chairman).

If he is available for free and won't want any wages then we might be in for him.

Skysports.com understands Brighton and Coventry are leading the chase for Leeds United striker Billy Paynter.

The 27-year-old marksman is currently down the Whites' pecking order and manager Simon Grayson is prepared to let him leave.

Paynter scored goals for fun during his time with Swindon Town, although he has failed to hit those dizzy heights at Elland Road.

The start of his Leeds career was disrupted by injury and he finished the 2010/11 campaign with one league goal from 22 appearances.

However, Paynter remains a man in demand and now Brighton and Coventry are looking to secure his signature before the window closes.
