Have some fans been over critical of our team -Have we not taken everything into consideration - Majority of the championship teams had a 6 week break - We had a 6 month break - Fitness levels have a massive bearing on results - Mark robins has mentioned a few times we are catching up, again in his latest interview - hopefully results will now improve consistently the fitter we get

Its far too early to tell, Fridays win was incredible, but the proof of what we are catching up is if we can go on to put in similar levels of performance over the next 2-3 games and beyond. Put in a shite performance on Wednesday then Friday becomes the blip not the norm.

Lots of fans want and thrive on being critical, when we lose a game I can confidently predict the queue of doom and gloomers who will appear on here. They will gang up on the usual guys Shipley the main one but looks like Allen might be joining him, and there are some even getting on at Hilsner who has hardly played yet.
This division at the moment looks very equal even the unfancied Wycombe are picking up points if results go a certain way we could be bottom three by Wednesday night so if that happens expect a melt down Thursday.

A few of the players looks shattered in some of the games, so we’ll definitely be catching up in terms of fitness. I think the main thing in most of the games has been a lack of belief though. They’ve looked like they feel they don’t belong in the league. We need to get out of that mindset.

The key for us is to start picking some points on the road. We've only got 1 point from 4 away games so far. Even a point or two against Forest and Watford would be good. Although, I do think Forest are in disarray at the minute and they are there for the taking.

Conversely, our home form has been quite good, W2 D1 L2. Losing to Bournemouth is no shame, and we shot ourselves in the foot against Blackburn conceding a penalty and a red card.

It is crazy. Some are even criticising Rose and Dabo, despite what they achieved last year and they are coming back from injuries. I have even seen criticism of Hyam!

It hasn't helped that we've played quite a few of the early season pacesetters and the matches have come thick and fast (almost every other Tue and Fri/Sat). Fitness levels are not quite where they need to be and injuries/suspensions haven't helped. I'm desperate for some clean sheets as well as we seem to be leaking goals at an alarming rate. So that has to be an major area for improvement. Also luck wise, I cannot recall us hitting the bar and post so many times in such a short span without scoring. So we need to put these chances away as they don't come often. It's a very tough league, but we have to have some self-confidence/belief and have a real go at it.
