Can't wait for it. Full of optimism and expectancy, can't see the point in not being.

I know we say this every year, but this is a huge season for us. Has a make or break feel to it.

More excited as usual as I'm back living in Cov so I've got a season ticket for the first time in years.

Will probably feel differently by 5pm on Saturday!

You're perfectly entitled to that view of course, but personally I have never found it hard to be a City fan. I find it comes naturally

Sadly apart from the Northampton year, I've never been so disenfranchised with football in general. I guess I'll be drawn to attend a few games out of an undying built in loyalty but there is just too much negativity surrounding the City these days and almost all of the guys I used to go with have gradually found other stuff to do with their weekends.
Of course if we perform as we did early doors last season then I'll spend more on tickets but if it's shit I'll spend more time at CRFC.

Fully understand this Ashdown . it's not because we're rubbish for me , it's more due to the owners showing absolute no progress , ambition , hope . it simply isn't enjoyable .

I'm usually getting excited by now with a new season near, but not this one to be honest. I'll go to games like I always do but that's being loyal as I'll always be a Cov City fan no matter what.

If I didn't have a season ticket having to mess about getting tickets would put me off and at the moment I have the same interest as our owners.

But he said that if the team does well, he'll go more. So if we're top of league after 30 games would you still not be up for going much? Genuine question...

Fully agree . They're not very customer friendly at CCFC.

Looking forward to watching some live football. Not expecting much this season though, mid table mediocrity. Hoping for so much more.
