Yep, 1 point per game should be good enough (49 points) to stay up.

It will be a miracle if we stay in this division long term if sisu don't leave and this continues for years but it certainly wouldn't be a miracle staying up this year, we're not even the relegation zone. It could go either way for me. You can get 5/1 on Coventry getting relegated that does seem like a good value bet though.

Why will it be a miracle long term? We know the new stadium won't be built, we'll be still at the ricoh in a shite rental deal, should have 6-7k attendances which is in the top 7-8 in the league so will have top 8-10 wage bill.

World destruction/domination.

As usual football fans wish to have an individual pump money into a club and then leave quietly when it goes wrong/they run out of money.

Of course, they also expect these wealthy people to pump their money into the club before they are prepared to go and watch their team play.

What money is this that you talk about. I can see no sign or evidence of investment. you must have the figures to prove this investment

Don't know why I just find the thought of sp being headhunted hilarious, saying that if a club like Cowdenbeath come in he's gone.......

because I don't believe we will have 6-7k attendances, I think they will continue to fall and I don't believe (not even close) that the amount we spend on players is 60% of revenue whatever waggott says. the whole ffp thing is complete fantasy.

How much do you think the budget is? Even if we spent 40-50% we would have a larger wage bill than half of the teams in this league. Yeovil got promoted with a £900k wage bill.

how would I know? I just don't think what waggot has told us is backed up by the evidence at all, I hate the constant talk of "budget too" that allows so many outs and misleading statements. we should be talking about wage bill. What we are actually spending.

The simple fact of the matter is they told us they had no intention of selling Wilson this means they must have been planning to be able to field a decent squad within ffp rules without the sale. If the sale of Wilson was 3mill, 60% of that is 1.8mill. Lets be generous and use 1.5mill. 1.5mill should have provided 7 players on 4k a week over and above what they had planned to have if he had stayed. This surely tells us all we need to know.

anyway wifes home, enjoy your weekend, lets hope we win.

For what it's worth I think there could be anyone of 3 reasons Sisu aren't spending

1 There is no money
2 They are lining up a buyer so don't want to spend. Wasps?
3 The don't trust SP.

Regardless failing to spend could land us in big trouble. League 2 here we come

yeovil was a bit of a one-off though which i suppose it is why it gets quoted quite a lot. Their current league position perhaps highlights what a fluke it was.

Hopefully they are holding off letting Pressley sign anymore players as surely he will be axed if we lose tomorrow. Strange how the stance has changed from "signing 6/7 players" to not having any sort of kitty.

Before Christmas SP seemed to believe he would be bringing in players in this window, small fees were even mentioned. All of a sudden no players in, no money, not even for wages it seems, and apart from that bloody stupid 'way forward' nonsense, deathly silence. So what's changed? Is the end (liquidation) approaching? Surely its either that or SP's end is approaching. Are they waiting for the Maddison windfall with one hand on the plug?

God knows pal, problem we have is we are never told anything that actually means anything. It's almost like they think we want to hear about mythical stadiums rather than the day to day running of our club. By the way Samo, Coldplay's first album was a top record, second was ok but after that a bit samey

3 points in last 5 home games isn't a point a game though. And our squad is getting weaker as the season continues. I am fookin worried now.

Games without a shot on target. Easiest game in the next 7 is away to Yeovil. Next easiest is against Scunny that have pulled away from the bottom with their recent form. We also have to play the teams in 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th. I wouldn't want to bet much on us not losing the next 7 games. And most other clubs have games in hand on us. We are 3 points out of the bottom 3. Anyone that isn't at least slightly worried should take a reality check.

This season worries me enough, but whatever happens I am really worried about next year, as if this continues it will be far far worse.

No money, paper thin squad, no talent, poor manager, no fans, no income and same old shitty owners. Operation Conference seems to be our beloved owners aim.

My hope was that he would get a few loans that would get us some results. Doesn't look like this will happen. The only thing that we seem to have to look forward to is getting the map out again.....but this time to see where we get to go in Division 4

If we keep talking singers/songs analogies then for Joy we can have Judith Collins and for Tim, Elvis and Waggott we have their own anthem 'Send in the Clowns'

9 points from our last 5 away games though. Don't be mistaken, i do think this is squeeky bum time and i am of course a bit worried, but that's different to saying we need a miracle to stay up, that would be sitting bottom of the league and needing league winning form to even have the slightest chance of surviving - we're not there yet.

I'm worried about the position we are in but still believe we will have enough to finish anywhere between say 14-20th place. We have every chance of taking points from games against Rochdale, Bradford, Sheffield Utd, Yeovil and Scunthorpe. Anything from Preston and MK games is a bonus.

Problem is we enter a usually bad period in the season for us with Pressley in charge of a team far inferior to the one we had last season and still with no sign of any arrivals to bolster our thread bare squad. I am more than just a bit worried. With Pressley still here it is looking like we might be getting closer to needing a miracle.
