I admire TM for leaving when he did and retaining some degree of integrity. What a shambles our owners have turned this club into. I get the feeling the players are doing what Chelsea did under Mourinho last season, and if it gets Venus the sack, good on them!!!

I think you're reading too much into it. The players were shit under Mowbray and are still shit under Venus.

the run at the start of the season under TM wasn't much better than this, I think they're just shit.

agreed. Rose couldn't get into the team last year with Fleck and Vince playing and he was often on the bench. Now, he's a shoe in if fit.

The quality in the squad is getting weaker and weaker

Players can and do get rid of managers and I think the current players are not buying into what MV wants. But we are also suffering with having too many players not having a long lifetime here, not being funny but why should Chris McCann with respect put his head on the block for us or or Venus. And we have how many loanees going back in the New Year ?

Why would you admire a manager who has helped get us into this position? Chances are that TM's signings have been poor and are a major reason for where we are now.

How can you admire a manager who had an appalling summer, signed shit players and then fucked of from the sinking ship before his career died with the club!

Maybe a couple of early interviews with players after the initial uplift.
Suggesting they understood their roles more.

I really cannot believe players would unite so strongly to get the manager sacked. More like the opposite...the manager backs off in training terms so fitness levels drop. After a few games confidence goes too...eventually leading to the (handsome) sack (of cash in severence).

In JMs case I think he he had probably been tapped up for the Man U job & there may have been a contract severence clause forbidding working in the Prem for a set time. JM would know that as he'd left before

...onwards & upwards PUSB

I doubt any manager could get more from the squad assembled. They give their best but they do not have physicality, experience, game management, the mental strength, the league 1 nous. A change of manager is not going to change that without being able to bring in 6 or 7 players. The longer this goes on the more they lose confidence and belief in themselves and what the team are doing. That looks like not playing for the manager but it is more they don't have what he needs them to give

Possibly.
I'm thinking the Scunthorpe and Bolton displays.
Both lost of course but two proper performances, or games raised due to the "Lofty", opposition?

It will hard enough to replace or extend loans for McCann, Ageyi, Page, Ricketts, Wright & Sterry never mind bring in anyone else and if there are player sales the team will be academy players plus a few loans near as damn it. Funnily enough I heard there was a SISU intention to field mostly academy players in D4 mentioned by someone over a year ago who claimed to have heard it from a SISU source.

I wish you'd stop with your thinly veiled accusations. It's just trivialising real racism and isn't in the least bit amusing. The post stupot was replying to was about how Rose couldn't get in the team last year and that IS exactly the same as Bigi. Both are two of the first names on the teamsheet this year. Agyei or Wright were not here.

Am I missing something or are we not allowed to mention a black player because someone will try and put a racist slant on it?

Of course you are allowed to. But in this case CC4L just follows Stupot around on threads trying to insinuate and implicate his dislike of particular players has more to it than them just being quite shit.

seems that way, stupot played race card last year and lots of people have fallen for it. anytime i mention a player who is black its par tof "thinly veiled accusations" apparently.

if stupot was digging at burge or turnball every game then it would be their names being mentioned in my psots ffs

what a world we live in today

I've been told the players do not like MV and are trying to get rid of him. Whether this is true or not I do not know or maybe they are using it as an excuse!
