In his comments to the Telegraph Appleton doesn't explain why the players are shown as assets in the accounts of CCFC Limited, yet claiming the contracts are in Holdings Ltd (according to him!). Little wonder this won't be made public ! Complete bullshit ?

VOR, 99% of us are not fooled by Mr Appleton. How he gets away with it? One law....
You or I break a law and we'd be in trouble, yet....

i guess if no law has been broken he doesn't need to explain anything.

when i say law i mean real law, not FL rules. we already know they aren't worth the paper they are written on.

Having rushed to put Ltd up for sale when he didn't even know what its assets were - ie what he was selling - shows what sort of a man he is.

Strong accusation as you can't possible be privy to all the information?

You don't need the weatherman to tell you when it's raining.

Just because he doesn't give us the outcome we all want doesn't mean he's "bent", does it?

I remember when I was nine I wanted an Action Man Talking Commander with gripping hands and a beard. Did I get one? Nah, I got the Action Man Action soldier with the rubbish hard plastic hands. Were my parents or Father Christmas bent because I didn't get what I wanted? No, though admittedly I did sulk until the beginning of February 1975.

We are comparing Paul Appleton to Father Christmas now?

The man is bent and we all know it. Outcome is irrelevant to me. If your hire your own administrator (PA) then the process is going to be bent isn't it.

So let's go back to the Father Christmas example and I bet on Christmas Day you expected presents as I expect Paul Appleton to be bent.

I'm not complaining one jot it's just every one seems to moan that the process is flawed and all I'm saying it of course it is. It's blooming obvious. Let's move on. Nothing we can do so let's move on.

I would suggest that Appleton got the gig not because he's bent, but because he knows the laws and procedures regarding administration better than most of us.

Wrong target IMHO, just doing his job.

It's funny, this side players in the charade are the latest to have their characters assassinated.

Reid the journalist and now Appleton the administrator. I'm fully expecting the bloke who sells hot dogs at Sixfields to be blamed for the current predicament soon enough.

You have to ask yourself rationally.

You're a professional administrator with a nice career, going smoothly.

What would possess you to take on a high profile case like a football club, made even higher profile by it moving out of its home town... so you could commit fraud?!?

If you wanted to be a bent administrator, it's the last job you'd choose!

He's been supremely bias throughout. There's "doing the job" and "doing the job".

He could've done the exact same things with far more sensitivity to the fans and far more transparency all round. Case in point "oh it's top secret you can't see it, but I can tell you the outcome, no you can't see the evidence, oh and neither have I"

Well I'm sure we'll hear about legal action against him from ACL very soon then, won't we?
