They say Joe Elliot is being reinstated as life president. Someone has just spoken to Joe and he knows nothing about it and first he has heard such news. Joe said he has heard Sisu are trying to blackmail the Council and have had talks with ACL behind there backs and an ACL Director has resigned because of it.
Seppala is telling the Council if they do not reduce rent or sell part of Ricoh she will liquidate the club.

Its getting worse by the day, DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING SISU SAY OR DO.

If thats true then liquide us, we will start again, we cant have owners like this at our club !!

what happens if they reduce the rent, then SISU come to the fans and say "we need anther £100 off all season ticket holders, else we will liquide the club"

where does it end !

Well all should be clear by May 31st.

Because if it isn't the league will impose penalties on the club at their annual meeting on May 31st & June 1st

Accounts HAVE to be submitted by this day, to state the club is in a position to carry out next seasons fixtures.

Sounds horrible I know, but I'm starting to wish they would liquidise the club. They're just killing it slowly now. Least this way we can start again with new owners, new start etc.

Not sure about liquidation but administration is a better option, at least we could remain as Coventry City even with -20 points.
We all know we need owners who care, but its not going to happen. So lets make SISU pay, help them to loose money, make potential SISU investors look elsewhere. People outside of our club need to look at SISu and ask questions.

bit of a unfair question ccfcway we are all fans and all care about the club we are all hoping for the best for the club but fearing the worst. you can not blame people for wanting to watch there team and hopefully encourage investors, as you can not blame people for staying away and hoping to drive SISU out

didnt mean it like that, I meant at a time like this, which most of us expected, I actaully want to hear for someone who honestly believes this will be good news, as they parted with their hard earned cash knowing this was coming

Hopefully the first time ARVO are mentioned in the press won't be when their bailiffs are knocking on the Ricoh door. Very tempted to phone up the Telegraph and see if they either don't know about the ARVO charge or simply won't report it.

I think the clue is in the thread title: "apparently". Oh, and do I regret buying a season ticket? Nope.

just spoken to Joe and he knows absolutely nothing about supposedly being back as a 'life preseident' despite this article on the offal today....http://www.ccfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10269~2774264,00.html

Everything that comes our of the club is BULLSHIT!

Does anybody know any other club where the fans are treated so poorly. Its a shambles.

Im praying SISU do not get their grubby mits on the Ricoh, if they do its going to get even worse than it is now!

SISU have to get out of this club!!!

It has not taken me to this point to realise that. I know people will call me a fool and say I am crazy but I hope they do.

You will say I am mad but I am certain that when it gets to that point the Hoff and the Chinese or whoever will step get the club for next to nothing on the proviso that they have an agreement with the council.

What will the chinese do with half a 30k stadium in 2 years time after proving themselves to be responsible owners by showing transparency with all stakeholders especially fans.

Have e-mailed the following to Andy Turner:

"Hi Andy,

On 22nd March of this year, at Companies House, ARVO Holdings Ltd,
a sister company of SISU, successfully applied for a debenture to be
applied against Sconset Capital, the holding company which owns CCFC
Holdings, which in turn holds Coventry City FC. Present at the
debenture hearing were SISU representatives, including Joy Sepalla.
The result of a debenture, as I'm sure you're aware, is to enable a
creditor to secure first rights on all assets ahead of other creditors
in the event of the debtor being liquidated.
ARVO have previously been involved in liquidations and
administrations of SISU-related ventures, and their involvement in
March raises strong suspicions about SISU's intent for the future of
Coventry City if their now public discussions with ACL don't give a
favourable outcome. Indeed, ARVO's actions would suggest very strongly
that the club's future is in real danger should SISU not get their own
way in these talks.
My reason for writing is to establish whether the Telegraph are
aware of the ARVO debenture, and if they are, why such news has not
been brought to light or indeed been put to Joy Sepalla or club
chairman Tim Fisher in recent interviews. If the Telegraph is in fact
not aware of this story, then would it at all be possible for the
matter to be put to either Tim Fisher or a SISU representative. As I
stated previously, this information can be obtained from Companies
House if you wish to verify it further.

I look forward to your response."

Surely JH should have received this many years ago - well before SISU even got here

GC should have got it when Sillett did.

I bet he hasn't been. I just don't think the website people have checked their information correctly. If you check the CCFC Who's Who page it still states that Elliott is LP when we all know it's been Sillett for a while.

You're totally right. I think it was Curtis himself, though that stated that the last regime almost refused to acknowledge the FA Cup win or anything prior. No pictures on walls at HR or anything. I can't remember where I read that.

You're right. I think Richardson/McGinnity were a little jealous.
