Whats the point of changing it then? What was the point in sacking Thorn? If we are so low and downtrodden that we have to accept whatever comes our way, we may have well as stayed as we were and just ended up mid table like we are going to now.

Put it like this;

Thorn was gash.

Ince/Robins/Blackwell/Brown are slightly less gash

you have already proven a poor judge of players(deegan) and managers(thorn) so perhaps you should keep quiet till one has been appointed?

I praised Deegan when he played well, critisised him when crap. But fuck right off, either way?

The obsession with win percentages on this forum is bizarre. Maybe it's time to go back for Dowie?

Do people not realise that they are entirely dependant on the situation a manager finds themselves in hence why a 30% win ratio could actually be better than a 40% win ratio?

Exactly! A 35% win ratio at relegation favourites is better than a 40% win ratio at promotion contenders in my books.

You have proven an equally if not poorer judge of a player with Ben Turner

How is shaw on the final 3 list? The players need a kick up the arse what happened to wise being linked if it goes to sky they get the news spot on whoever comes in I'll give my support to them 100% but if it turns out to be shawys I would be very surprised

Yes please, best manager we've had since relegation and should never have been sacked.

More excitement being a City fan under Dowie than anyone bar the brief "Entertainers" spell in the Prem. People just didn't like him cos he used big words innit?

Yeah I loved those 4-goal defeats...and those signings? Gray, Cairo-they were exciting, weren't they?

No, people don't like Dowie as he was a crap manager, in their opinion's, of course. We're all allowed those, even if we are "foaming at the mouth".

BUT - you stated earlier that Robins "is probably the best we could hope for"...based upon what exactly?
As I pointed out, Wise's playing & managing enthusiasm, background & attitude PLUS stats make him my 1st choice of those known applicants.

i have admitted he has improved immensly, however hes still just a championship defender who is either brilliant or shite.

yet to see thorn lovers admit he was shite though

im not being a dick NLHWC, just think someone who loved thorn has no right to judge and ridicule other managers.

I didn't love Thorn, I'm a long-suffering (and mucho money paying) fan, and you have no right to tell people what they can and can't think. That's called Facism.
