Not worried about any of that, but I'd forgotten we'd had no player of the season award or end of season do. Doesn't really matter, and may still happen, but is a bit strange.

I am worried about many things in life.

Coventry City not making anything public by the 22nd June is not one of them

Enjoy the summer, the season will be here before you know it.

I saw a vlog on YouTube today ( Ben HD ) who said we had gone from an average gate of under 10 k to almost 28 k average home attendance in 10 years the highest increase for a Championship club .

I'm not worried at all.

We really don't need loads of signings we were very close to going Wembley and came second out of non parachute teams

Of the teams that have come up Birmingham seem to be the biggest threat but they also spent 15m on a striker they got relegated with the year before.

It does feel odd though being in a position where we don't need to turn over the whole squad and will take some getting use too

If you’re worrying about this stuff I suggest you stick the news on at 8pm. It’ll make you feel much worse but about things that are actually a worry, not your silly list of meaningless minutiae.

Maybe the Ayatollah was planning to buy Doug out before the shit hit the fan at the weekend, that would explain the lack of news on the commercial front.

Plenty will be going on behind the scenes, last season we didn't announce Sakamoto had signed until a few days into a pre season tour when he was photographed at Birmingham Airport with the squad, and I get the feeling we were forced into announcing Brau as most news outlets jumped the gun.

Yeah ignoring the obvious that this is a just a bit of a wind up thread as oul Georgie is bored, this is still fucking weird to me. Has there ever been a club that's decided to do the end of season presentation just before the start of the new season? I mean there can't be many, if any, surely.

Not buying they couldn't find a date or venue for it either.

Really not worried if there is no awards night for this season. Announcements on who has won accolades accompanied by some slick training ground interview footage would be fine. Heads need to be on the season upcoming and let's just make the end of season awards that much bigger next season with some proper entertainment? Tom Grennan doing a few songs for 30 mins and maybe a comedian etc doing a set as well as giving out the awards? Could charge a bit more for that experience too.

If we could also ask the fans not to treat it as a rowdy piss up I think that would improve the night. Nothing more cringe (to me and i suspect the players) than 50yo men trying to hug lads in their early 20s while completely smashed!

Not worried at all, our squad is good.

If I was to say one thing tho, the club should be priorising who we are offloading, plenty of players at our club that either dony get minutes, are linked away or aren't quite good enough.

For me I'd be focusing on that as the priority, who is going and who are we sticking with, and then going after the players we have scouted/ targeted.

What I don't want is us to piss 4 million here on a forward and another 5 on this player that we don't really need and then last minute MVE is sold and we end up having Eccles playing at right back until Jan.

Not worried one bit.

Seriously, do you think we're going to splash it around on social media of who what and where?

We're no longer a ragbag outfit of a football club that lurch from one disaster to another, processes are in place, plans are afoot, targets are set and have been for some time.

All will be revealed in due course in the correct way.

Yeah I am worried, the kit / sponsorship situation is shambolic and has been throughout Kings tenure at the club.

In terms of signings, I’m frustrated we have tried to rectify the left back issue with a real low pedigree signing. Given that 2 of Lampard’s 3 signings have been Brau and Paterson. I am not looking forward to the rest of the window.

Let’s hope things improve

In fairness the Patterson signing came about due to injuries and was just a way of patching up, a short term arrangement that suited both parties.

I wasnt aware you had followed Braus career that closely to form this opinion. We signed Grimes, one of the best players in his position in the division, and Paterson came in when we were short and scored a goal that helped us reach the play offs. Only one of these cost a fee too.

I think we will have funds, even out of any potential sales, but what must be concerning DK is the situation with Vik. He could well go through summer without being sold??
MVE sale will bolster funds, and convinced this will happen!
maybe small amount from Hamer sale if he goes?

I think unless they're intending for the public to attend they'll keep them as quiet as possible so people can't just turn up. Aprt from the last couple of friendlies the rest are a fitness exercise and getting the tactics right.

Not any ITK but ive got a theory

We've had 3 wank starts in a row now. I wouldnt be surprised if Lampards gone a different route with pre season this year and instead of having the 4 or 5 friendlies we usually do, he may just be looking at 2 or 3 and a behind closed doors in the build up

A lot of teams seem to be doing the behind closed doors route these days. Some have even said they cant announce the opposition they are playing in those games
