Pre Season starts in a week thought some new faces would be signed up to start training 1st July

Plenty will be going on behind the scenes, last season we didn't announce Sakamoto had signed until a few days into a pre season tour when he was photographed at Birmingham Airport with the squad, and I get the feeling we were forced into announcing Brau as most news outlets jumped the gun.

Got a few weeks before I'll start panicking we won't have a kit for the new season
Not really fussed if we change sponsors
Will happen ahead of the awards evening I expect
They've said they were concentrating on the end of the season and couldn't find a suitable date, its going to be held in late July
As long as we're playing there next season leave King to get on with any longer term deal, if we hadn't been through the shit we have in the past nobody would give this a second thought

We're gonna have a full ground most games, we'll sell loads of kits even if it's late, and if we started the season with the squad as it is now, it's basically the same as the one that almost made the PO final. Chill!

Every year we get told the kits are a massive fuck up followed a few weeks later by a post from the club about record sales

It's not as if there is a mass exodus of players so not worried at all. It's different now to how things were in years gone by where we'd have a team reliant on loan players or short term contracts.

Nothing to worry about, we will soon hear from Doug and FL and see the players back ready to go for next season. Doug will have to talk about the stadium deal, kit launch, ST sales and an overview of the squad. Other than that it's crack on and let's see what happens over the next few months

Our results since Lampard has come in, the likely retention of most of the squad and probable improvement in key areas means nothing when you realise they've not confirmed when the awards will be and we've not seen a single anthem jacket. Fiver on relegation.

It's not just Monzo that we have to look at re sponsorship.
Mercury/G&R/Coventry Building society etc had to be secured before anything could be done kit wise last year.
Any one if the various "partners" placed on the kit could be causing a delay.

Signing wise. Absolutely nothing unusual with what we have/haven't done so far.

Players usually back for pre-season at the beginning of July. FL could easily give them another week due to our season ending later.
Staff probably back in during the week before players to plan.

Not an issue yet.

No. Players and coaching staff are all on holiday until the end of this week. A lot of other staff probably are too. It just that time of year.
