I just thought it was strange why somebody would list then under their business ebay account?

Hopefully Ebay will pick up on it and remove them!

I will report him too.

Hate stuff like this. Any and every opportunity to make a fast buck.

It would never, ever occur to me to sell any ticket at an inflated price.

I think we should all report him. What category di you use, Bumberclart?

Out of order, I contacted someone on here yesterday who was looking for tickets and because I had a couple of spare places I ordered the tickets for him, no charge for fellow fans. Just good to help out.

Same here. Bought tickets for 2 supporters and would not dream to charge them a penny more.

I can't understand everyone out of their pram about this. I've not done it and wouldn't before anyone asks, but this goes on at every event, every day up and down the country. They could get egg on their face if no one buys - that's the risk in getting them. Tbh no different to what Ticketmaster themselves are doing. Supply and demand.

Plenty worse stuff going on and they're hardly crack cocaine dealers.

What I can't understand though is why someone would be desperate enough to pay hugely over the odds, when they could get a match package and a ticket, meaning you get to go to more games for the same value and help the club instead of lining someone's pockets.

I'm an exiled CCFC fan reliant on general sale tickets. With half our allocation sold within 2 days and a further 2 priority groups still to go, I can easily see why someone who also needs to arrange flights and accomodation might crack and buy them in a panic. A CCFC fan trying to make money out of other CCFC fans when this should be a day enjoyed by everyone who wants to, is just a shitty thing to do. Maybe he will be left with egg on his face, but that won't make his act any less unsavoury and it's not like he's had mates drop out at the last minute when this is the 2nd day of tickets being on sale.

Anyone seen the CT link on the story?

Seems to me almost to be promoting the eBay user, talking about how high ranked he is etc.

Thing is. An awful lot of supporters haven't even had chance yet to buy tickets and are prevented from doing so.

Hardly fair if they have to pay highly inflated prices because someone decides he wants to fleece people. This person knows that tickets are not yet available to thousands and thousands of fans and that there is some doubt as to whether everyone will get one or not and has then deliberately sought to profit from the scenario and fans desperation.

Hope the club come down on him like a tonne of bricks.

Given its a business account with all the business contact details on there not to hard for one of the CT staff to speak to them and ask them why they are illegally reselling tickets.

Just because it goes on elsewhere doesn't mean it's OK. Pretty cuntish thing to do to fellow Sky Blues if you ask me.

I'm not advocating that it's ok, I think we all agree it's a "cuntish thing to do".

Morally reprehensible without question, but I don't see why it should be illegal. Nobody is harmed, nobody is forced to fork out their hard earned and as with all things in life you have a choice whether to purchase.

Each year I get held to ransom by overcharging travel agents who make me pay a premium to go at the most popular time during the 6-week school break. However nobody holds a gun to my head. I begrudge paying the price of holiday that I could enjoy a few weeks earlier already expensive at half the price (not to mention everyone else having their bloody kids there too which is a whole different annoyance ). The travel agents buy up a batch of flight tickets and accommodation and sell them at hugely inflated prices. If they don't sell the agent loses. They are 'cunts' too, but it remains my choice to pay or not.

That was me. This is a scandalously overhauled price simply to make a huge profit.

The in-laws in Russia were thinking about offering a whole package service over there, including arranging hotels and tours to the Motherland statute, and the tickets themselves were on sale were so cheap (something like about £9-£10 each) that even doubling the price would still have made it a really, really excellent price for travelling fans.

Would you think offering a ticket to a world cup final at say £20 was ripping people off? (I don't think they would have even charged as much as that to be honest)

£150 for tickets worth £36 each is a massive rip-off.

Big, big difference. One was trying to help people and the other is just trying to get as much money out of people as they can.
