My missus surprised me by buying me this today. She knows I'm a massive Irish Whiskey drinker. Looking forward to trying it later!

No not tried that one yet. Did see it in Sainsburys last week. Will give it a go. The new Jamesons stout edition is good. Its aged in Stout barrels. Very smooth and can go down far too easily. I did 2 bottles of it over Xmas

Seen it. Not tried it. Will do one day.
Still recovering from over-indulging on three different styles of Jamesons over Christmas, so it won't be for a while.
Verdict on it asap please!

Absolutely lovely. Not as smooth as Jamesons, but then I expected nothing less from the Pogues! My missus asked me which I prefer, this or Jamesons, but all I could say was I love Jamesons because it's always been my favourite, but this is now my favourite 'unsmooth' whiskey! I couldn't taste the "nutty aromas of chocolate covered peanut and toasted seed" though, but then it doesn't really touch the sides with me! Sláinte!

Cheers! Prefer my whiskey as smooth as possible tbh, which is why I switched from Scotch about 30 years ago (gives me raging heartburn, which whiskey doesn't).
Still going to buy a bottle though - next month...
