TM could be working with Haynes to play in another position. Players move on as they get older. Maybe he has ideas for Stokes. We won't know until the season starts.

I thought Mowbray had stated he expects Haynes and Stokes to battle it out for the atarting spot at LB?

No, every club that achieves promotion has a 4 goal a season striker and non league reject full back in their ranks from which they build a squad.

What planet are you on? Who would you bring in/retain on our budget? You can't go out and acquire 20 odds players and get promotion anyway. TM has to develop the players at his disposal. He can wisely bring in about 6-8 players and supplement them with about 4 loans. Tudgay will be cheap for his level of experience, a reliable influence on and off the field and if we can get him motivated a valuable asset. Stokes is on a learning curve. Haynes can be developed too, but people expected too much from him after about two good performances.

Who guessed what Wilson was going to do a couple of years ago? I have faith in what he is doing. He knows what he has and knows what he needs. And unlike Bury he hasn't spent a lot of his budget on two players. I still think we will be in a season of fun for once.
