I recall going to an away game in the late 80's i think . Charlton away but playing at Selhurst Park . bus broke down we had to get out and push it to get it going again . very similar to the bus in the picture .

Don't recognise any of the players but the coach looks like a Daimler CV. Yes folks, there are bus and coach spotters within our ranks.

Good choice, solid chassis and then the styling of the coach builder. Wish I had one tucked away in a barn. Also the many hundreds of individual coach operators around in those days.
National Express and bus deregulation have alot to answer for imo.

I remember going on a day trip to Blackpool on one of these. We were in Blackpool for about 2 hours then back home lol. No M6 in those days.

I know. Couldn't those football players just move aside so we can see the coach properly!
They should also have had all the players take their seats and then took a photo inside the bus.
