Approaching the sorting office from the Stoke side there was a car pulled over on the ring road just after the Foleshill Rd by police with two women stood nearby and as we passed a few more police cars were on the way, so must have been something serious if it was that.

Seems I was lucky to escape then! They'd blocked it off just when I got to the Folshill Road junction, so had to go round by Wickes, up to Radford and Hearsall Common, and sneak down the A444
It seems this has become quite the popular spot for this sort of activity, I was stuck in traffic at the same spot a few months back for the same reason.
