What he said on CWR in the interview there was that the club were trying to bring in one or two players by the end of the transfer window.

What he didn't say of course was that some of our players may well be sold and how many will be going out of the club.

What we need is a bigger squad, not the same size squad, not a smaller squad! No good bringing two players in and two or even three players going out in the opposite direction.

Anyone else fear that we may indeed bring two player in but that more players will be going the other way? As has been said, it's okay bringing Parkin in to bolster the attack, but pretty dumb to bring him in and then let Jukebox go!

Hope my fears are unfounded.

couldnt agree more

think as you say juke and turner out, parkin and maybe a loanee in - netting maybe £2m + probably a couple om £m for Scott Dann

I would guess that would probably at current levels cover our losses until the end of April - so when Sisu say they are financing us to the end of the season - this is what they meant

Well that's not desperately trying to bring new players in is it. Not exactly a lie but most certainly a half-truth. It was painted as we were really trying to strengthen the squad. The above scenario happens and that simply isn't the caset!

Anyone who still believe's this man deserves to be shat on because after tonight the squad will be weaker,, but its ok because SISU and KD have got the costs down... Next episode P Clowning will be wheeled out to talk about the loan market and feed another load of spin to give Sisu more time to strip and make a retreat leaving the club in a right mess for someone else to clean up.......

I think sisu are trying to get on our side with these so called signings, but I'm sure even ifwe sign parkin and cody, we will still all be against them.

I think given the circumstances we can stand to loss a centre back, we're well stocked in that department.

Parkin in and Juke out, would be a bad move in footballing terms, It looks like we're preparing for life in league 1 doesn't it. :thinking about:

Well we all know the team needs strengthening. Selling two of our best players and bringing in players of lesser quality is not the answer.

I was really happy when we were bringing in really promising young players such as Dann, Fox and Westwood, but the likes of Parkin as a replacement for a talented young player in Jukebox seems completely the wrong way to go. Let's hope that isn't the plan.
