I've had about 5 hrs sleep after the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight but am off to some friends football teams presentation night in salubrious Bognor Regis this evening. Although we shouldn't be celebrating finishing 17th, I'm gonna have a few to toast the season away, hoping that we're in a much better position in 12 months time.

Cheers chaps, PUSB.

It's bank holiday, so therefore, lot's of beer to drink.

I am delighted we stayed up, and we won. But personally, it'll mean more if we build over the summer, then hopefully we can celebrate this time next year

Not really celebrating, happy with the way we did it though. Much happier than having to rely on others!

Yep, I stopped punching my cockatiel so I could go 'yay' in a loud whisper at the tv screen.

Won't be any celebrating for me. Just relief that it's not a League 2 tour next season.

Have to say a bit flat. It's all so depressing it's more the least shit option!

And being glass half empty, I just think it puts it off for another season.

Ah well, you never know. Maybe Maddison actually stays and develops, maybe Burge continues to improve, maybe FLeck finally shows the frm of his youth, and we take the division by storm next season(!)

I had it nailed on that we were down at 1:30..contemplating next season in league 2 didn't bear thinking about. Relief mixed with celebration is the feeling right now. It'll count for nothing if we don't kick on next year.

I need another holiday after listening to that! Mexico is class, went with the Mrs back in October. Sensatori is the dogs bollocks!

Should hopefully know whether Mowbray will be here or not by this time next week. Could be the difference between promotion push and relegation.

I'll have a couple of vodka shots - more from relief than celebration. As for a Mexico holiday, we've been to Excellence Playa Mujeres twice and love it there.

I will have a few beers. At the end of the day, it was an awful season, but we could have gone down but we didnt. Today that is a reason to celebrate, one leass black cloud and all that, tomorrow is another day....

Were leaving Crawley now, going to find a off license now and have a few more for the journey back. What a last 20 mins. Atmosphere was amazing once we equalised. Love it PUSB

I am having a beer after a pleasing result and performance.

not celebrating yet until SISU show their hand on TM and some intent to actually build a competitive side.

What time does the open top bus tour start? If we start next season with Mr Mowbray and a half promising side I'll raise a glass

Credit where it’s due. The owners made absolutely the right call when they changed the manager – and just in time. I struggle to think of many (any?) other decisions they’ve ever got right, but for keeping us out of the fourth division I’m happy to say “well done”. Desperate I know, but these are the kind of small achievements we are left with, so yes I'm quietly celebrating.

The performance was awful. We were out played for 70 minutes by a bottom league 3 side.

Relief, that's about it. If Melton is here next season with the things he wants in place I will celebrate that. It's been a poor season with only one real highlight which was the first game back, thanks to Mowbray for turning a rabble into a team that could at least compete.

No not the staying up but just another good away result unbeaten in 6 away games and 4 clean sheets!

Just got to get home form, pitch and more supporters to cheer on the boys at home ( well not really home, we only rent it!).

With you all the way Houch. If anyone is celebrating, they're easily pleased is all I can say. Unless heavy investment is shown by the owners for next season, I foresee much the same for us. Perhaps not even surviving next time.

FFS, there's a lot of miserable shits on here today. Think less celebrating, more relief.

It's been a shit season. Today was a good result. It's a bank holiday weekend. Have a beer and lighten up!
