So there our sponsor, fair one...

I have ordered a Cross Trainer for my flat, I live on the top floor (4 floors).. they arrived on Wednesday and rang the buzzer, within 6 seconds I answered, they had gone.. Phoned for redelivery, arranged for Friday as I had the morning early noon off, left the house at 2pm thinking they would come later, was raging.. they had apparently arrived at 1pm and I didnt answer... WTF. So I have had to email to re-arrange again..

The guy on the phone was very apologetic and said they driver is told to wait 45seconds per call.. He has promised to deliver my cross trainer this morning so I am no waiting around, well its 1pm now and I am still waiting... tempted to go downstairs and check for a slip!! :thinking about::jerkit:

Yep.

Ordered a Kindle Fire HD from Amazon for a present for Christmas and it was guaranteed delivery for last Wednesday. Waited in all day for it and then finally at about 5.30 p.m. it was simply posted through the letterbox. No signature or anything. I just caught a glimpse of the driver going back down my path and into his City Link van before driving off.

You would have thought you would have needed a signature for something of such value wouldn't you.

I've never had a problem with them, only used a few times, far better then that Yodel, they are woeful. Didn't even knock on the door and just posted a you weren't home label. TBF he probably didn't fancy carrying the trainer upto the 4th floor.

I've never had a problem.

Used them to send a 30kg box to Newcastle the other day. They arrived on time.

Much better than Yodel, like Marty said. They did the same thing to me. Just put a note through the door without ringing the doorbell or knocking.

I used to catch the postman doing it all the time, he would write the card before walking up the path and just post it and go away without even having the parcel on him as it was too big / heavy which meant I had to go to the post office to get it.

Yea the partner and I have just presumed they cant be bothered delivering to top floor, although I will/would have come and got it myself no problems.

Called them the now, the guy on the phone has told me the driver came and couldnt find the parcel on the van so drove off and no if's or but's I have until 9pm to collect it or its getting sent back to Amazon. I have then contacted Amazon to which they have contacted them and the excuse they gave Amazon was that the black gates at my flats were closed so they couldnt deliver.. Well yes, it would be closed its a security gate, you use the buzzer.

So I am now going for a 4th attempt of delivery 2moro morning... I couldnt be more angry if i tried.

ordered a cross trainer and mat to put it on. They arrived seperately. There was no problem with the cross trainer and i was very happy with the tracking of delivery and timing

The mat was a different story. It was apparently delivered and a picture of where to taken. There is a facility for a photo of where in their delivery system. Trouble was it was delivered high up in a tree i do not have ! Complained, and the people in the office very helpful. After a couple days investigation it turns out the parcel along with a number of others on that van had been nicked...... sorry delivered to the same tree ! Reported to Amazon who sent another job done. It would seem that some of the drivers they use are not the brightest!!

Would have been even worse had you ordered a pair and not just the one.

Don t get me started on Yodel.........anyway from what I know its not the drivers to blame but the companies who put immense pressure on them and pay a pittance

Used them for work, generally pretty decent. Much better than that Home network Delivery service.

I live up a tree, and keep getting unrequested parcels delivered for some reason.

The mat is very comfy though.

I have Amazon Prime and I actually don't mind City Link - I get my stuff sent to work. I ordered a KFHD for my son for Xmas and it came next day. The one's I hate are City Sprint and Yodel. They are rubbish.
