We'll beat Carlisle. If not, I'll eat my hat.
Agree. To me the club I grew up supporting no longer exists.
In terms of the twice weekly negative result, apathy now reigns.Got to the stage where we are in such a bad state that it doesn't rile them anymore. In other words that as a club we are so far off where we need to be that it's almost an irrelevance. It's a strange feeling but it's where I am now
You have just said something there that I have been telling myself for a while.
I grew up supporting a Premier League Club. We were never the best, but we had a squad of players that at least looked talented. In 97/98, we looked handy against most teams. In 99/00, we played the best football I have personally ever seen a Coventry team play, at home at least. But now, it just feels like a different club. I feel sorry for people like my dad, and grandad, who are old enough to remember each and every season in the top flight. They saw us play in Europe, saw us win the FA Cup. I wonder how they keep it up sometimes. For people like my grandad, they've seen the club come full circle. They saw the rise, and now they're seeing the fall. I have to wonder how long it will be before any of our younger fans see us rise?
I honestly don't see us beating anyone at the moment, the confidence of the players is so low. They seem incapable of winning against anyone. The club is totally unrecogniseable from the one I grew up supporting and despite 25 years personally supporting the club, with parents who have supported the club for 60 years and a grandfather who supported the club for 85 years, I am seriously contemplating supporting another club. The fun and enjoyment has simply left CCFC.

I do feel like I've had enough at the moment, no doubt that will change. But I would never consider supporting another team, it would be like picking a new mum.
