All hush-hush, i think.

The lads at Bletchley couldn't work it out; the best they could come up with was: ISUS U!TO

Unbreakable, they reckon.

Was mainly gathering ideas and views. Very useful exercise.

Mainly ideas for new questionaires.

So, CJ, assuming the trust have a plan for future ownership of the club. I'm a member, when will you be sharing the blueprint?

Ok, but you are asking Sisu to leave. More specifically what do you want them to do? Sell all sellable assets and liquidate? Put the club up for sale officially? Are you talking to potential investors in the background who may be interested?

All I can see is that Sisu will carry on and just start ignoring the Trust. I want to be assured there is some substance behind the statements you are making.

If anyone here isn't happy with the way that the trust is run, then rather than sniping pointlessly here why not get involved?

For example I'm not entirely chuffed with the direction that the trust has taken, but they put it out to vote, and went with the majority decision. To me, as a member, that's fair enough. If they sit around and drink tea and eat biscuits (or more likely beer and crisps) whilst trying to decide what to do next, so what? That's what most organisations like the trust do, I'd guess.

If you want them to go and do something specific then get up there and propose it.

For them to then say oh no like wet farts, like the majority of posters who post suggestions on here and it falls on death ears, hence why the vast majority have lost faith in them.

I would go to meetings if I was local. however, it's a pretty simple question and one they should have an answer to following their recent statement.

You mean you've lost faith in them - neither me nor you can speak for the majority here.

I don't know about posting suggestions on this forum, that's hard enough to follow at the best of times, but have you or anyone complaining about the trust here actually troubled yourselves to contact them direct with these suggestions? It's a bit rich to complain that you're being ignored if you haven't bothered to do at least that, imho.

Good point. Hardly advertised widely, is it. Always in the same place on a Monday evening and I no longer get emails. I would actually love to go to a meeting but Monday nights aren't good for me.

They have been discussing membership renewals for the last 3 meetings!. Its ok criticising those who are not taking part but they have managed to get 2 new members of the "board" - if these people dont have the drive to actually do something as simple as arrange membership subscriptions than they deserve the criticism.

I'm with you entirely on the pointlessness of just saying SISU out, and I'm interested to see what the people proposing this at the trust think this will achieve.

What I'm really talking about here though is what I see as the somewhat lazy complaint that the trust don't do anything (tea & biscuits etc.), made by people who've never really troubled themselves to contact the trust directly or do anything themselves.

There are lots of problems with the trust though aren't there?

In truth it seems very much like the old trust - effectively a closed shop with little apparantly strategy or outward communication with members.

There are 2 issues which concern me;

An apparant desire to attain fan ownership or representation - it was apparant in the Haskell debacle and definitely clouded judgement. There is no evidence at all that this works as a model anyway as witnessed at Portsmouth.

The second issue is that definitely it's hierarchy favour the wasps move. If this is not the trust view is neither here nor there as senior figures on a forum clearly dictate that view. The support I believe makes their argument regarding moving out of the city boundaries redundant. Their can be sceptiscscm regarding implementation but rejection on principal becomes very very difficult.

No one disputes the issues working with the club as it is difficult. However some form of working and cordial relations needs to be there and formalised. This could yield benefits. They could try and secure a model where a payment goes to the trust via ticket sales to give it some financial strength and credibility

It can still object and look to see if there are potential suitors. It should also continue to seek information on the new ground plans and make the club accountable.

It should ultimately see that long term the club needs a fanbase and work with the club and it's members as to how engagement and therefore long term sustainability can be improved.

It should formally urge members to not support wasps as to not is to justify franchised sport and, importantly, legitimise the sisu stance on ground ownership.

Communication, strategic direction and purpose are all required. It's perfectly reasonable for members of a group to ask these things of its board who after all have been elected to serve its members.

AFC Wimbledon. 5 promotions and now buying their own stadium

A role model for any supporters damaged by ''sports franchises''. I don't understand why your Trust hasn't established some proper links...they even offered to help you when Cov were at Sixfields.

Better than taking 7,000 to Franchise FC.

It is a good role model for starting a new team with fans backing.

Although it is ironic that AFC Wimbledon are a franchise team that do not play in Wimbledon and bought the stadium lease from Kingstonian FC and now ground share with them.

Help us do what? Form a new club?

We do not need to form links with AFC Wimbledon and taking 7k to MK Dons isn't going to change anything.

Who wants to start a new team??

Look at the 'fan ownership' at Rushden & Diamonds. And they were given a stadium complex for free.

Now they don't exist because the reality is that you can't run a football club on buttons.

Unless the club is self sufficient... it's just another version of SISU in charge.

How do you know they haven't?

The constant talk of a phoenix club is like the "we'll pack every away end this season" talk from last season. It's based on the idea that CCFC has a massive hardcore of committed fans which they do not.

Look at the pathetic gates this season, cue excuses about not paying for court cases etc.

Currently on a train back from London (that along with the two cab journeys were at my own expense and took the day off work to ensure I could attend) where I was attending a networking meeting discussing linking up with other clubs and organisations who can help us move forward and that we ourselves can offer assistance to. Hasn't been the first time and won't be the last either.
