It's more that it should never have been given a platform in the first place as it is so partisan. I just find it bizarre that you don’t want our club linked to a media outlet because you personally disagree with some of the presenters views, but quite happy for it to be linked to a media outlet that spent decades covering up horrific child sexual abuse.
It’s a bit more than that mate. GB News is explicitly set up to promote division and conspiracy theories. It’s not just a different viewpoint, it fails in its basic responsibilities as broadcast media.
Bringing up Saville from decades ago is just ludicrous whataboutism. It’s understandable a large portion of the fan base don’t want to be associated with GB News as they are acting right now.

On any objective measure they’re in completely different categories. BBC/Guardian/Telegraph/Times are one level of reporting. Sun/Mail/Express/Morning Star/Independent/New Statesman/Spectator another. The Daily Sport/Weekly World News/GB News are more entertainment than news.
