Only way to properly progress. If you have faith in a recruitment team to deliver at a lower starting fee, have faith in them to get it right with greater potential.

Best sitter in the division? That's good to know, the wife and I love a night out but can never get anyone to have the kids for us.

Eccles is also under rated. He suffers as others have done before him from always being judged by first impressions, as is often the case when homegrown young players make it through the youth team, with 'some' fans constantly viewing him as still being that same youth player as when he first started - its a good example of confirmation bias! He is a far better player than he is given credit for, and still has quite an upside to come, particularly if he can add a few goals to his game.

I probably do underrate him tbf but definitely think we need another quality defense-minded midfielder with vision (basically Hamer 2.0) to cut out attacks and start our attacks with pace. Robins keeps mentioning the fact that Ayari is more attacking so I’m hoping for a permanent CM signing that’s class to work alongside Sheaf.
I think really the Vik/Gus money is just burning a hole in my imaginary pocket…
