The fall of Coventry City football club??

It would be really interesting to know if there has been an increase in depression or other issues relating to what has happened

It would be an interesting study. Compare a number of fans from 5-10 clubs in the doldrums to those from 5-10 successful ones. Have to be done over the course of several years.

We'll I know I'm depressed after watching that load of shit on Saturday. Perhaps I'll find the answer at the bottom of a glass or two, though it isn't working yet!

We might be actually better off haelth wise by not having all the ups and downs and swings in mood that we used to have.

Possibly a constant mood, even if miserable better than moving between lows and highs and back again.

Fucked If I know, I'm not a psychologist, though If I was this site would be a goldmine of research material.

I'm only depressed on days Coventry play, that says something right there.
Depressed from the lack of enthusiasm, depressed from fan bickering.
Depressed of our ownership because it's a saga that belongs in another business world and not football.
Depressed from the managers seemingly inability to get the right formula.

There were happier times.

I used to worry that I was carrying some more timber than I should, but I used to look at Thorn and think thank f*ck I am only half his size. Great memories

I've had to start taking pills for high blood pressure since all this started! There was a study years ago (think it might have been a BBC doc) into stress and it found attending a match to be one of the most stressful things you can do.

I'm much less angry than I used to be. Way less arguments on here. I've accepted our current predicament and laugh most of our results off.

Being a Coventry City fan is not for the timid or those of a nervous disposition. You need strong fortitude and skin as thick as a Rhino. Oh, and also you've got to be mentally ill and a lover of banned substances. So if you've all of these following the Sky Blues is a piece of cake !
