Any Coventry fans interested in writing? (2 Viewers)

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, I signed up last night.

I want to let Coventry fans know that I'm currently in the process of making a new football magazine that will focus on all the league clubs in the West Midlands: Coventry, Blues, Villa, Wolves, Albion and Walsall.

My motivation for making it came from all the discussions I've had with lots of fans over the past year or so, who aren't happy with the amount of coverage that the London and Manchester clubs get compared to the Midlands.

The West Midlands is the second biggest region in the country, with some great clubs, and all of them have shown themselves as capable of winning trophies at various points in the past, yet in sporting terms we're largely ignored just because we have no clubs who are currently successful. I want to try and change that.

So, I'm looking for 2 (for now) Coventry fans who would be willing to contribute something to the magazine. The topic is up to you: you could write a season review-style article, or discuss your opinions regarding the ownership of the club, or talk about the managerial drama that's occurred over the past few weeks. Finally, I've also made a survey which currently needs more Coventry supporters to answer it. It's a short, 10-question survey which aims to find out about your football-reading habits. Thanks for your replies everyone, I didn't expect to get so many answers so quickly! I'll get back to all your PMs later on today. Houchens Head - Haha, thank you, if you can't answer one of the questions then there is an option there to skip the question or you can elaborate why in the text boxes.

jabharty - A one-off thing for now, but if we get enough interest after we release the first issue then we'll start to produce it regularly as a proper magazine. We're going to give the first issue away for free, but if we want to turn it into a proper business we'll have to start charging eventually.

withers - Haha, well we could but we don't want to annoy anyone too much, we want the fans from all the West Midlands clubs to read it!
